  3. hi Ken, this morning it happened when in 4th gear, 55mpg 2600-2800 rpm, hope this helps Thanks Brendan
  4. Im sorry i dont, l just called them, iirc its 2 different sizes and not all cars have the rivets, dont quote me on that tho... They were maga cheap like £4 or something
  5. Yeah mate, that was just the part, labour was extra. My mate did mine for free but unless you know someone you will have labour on top. I had to get the rivets from TPS aswel which was a pain as l did not know it was rivets till it was tore down. Cheers
  6. Hi mate just seen this, been really busy at work.. I will get some numbers and post in the next day or so. Thanks for the help buddy !!! Brendan
  7. Just done mine £155 for the part from Skoda...:( Sorted my issue tho, so well worth it !!
  8. Hi guys, Not on tickover more around the 2500-3000 rev range.. It like you take your feet off the pedal then a split second later you feel the car pick up and unless i brake or change gear it maintains or slightly increases speed.. Sorry really hard to explain. Brendan
  9. Hey guys sorry my phone would not let me post this morning... On the way to work l could not get enough speed up to make it happen. I have VCDS Lite, can l measure the throttle with that version ?? Thanks Brendan
  10. Hey tmb, No it's not slipping as such, it's more like you take your foot of the pedal as you want to slowly come to a stop but the car maintains the speed you were doing... Someone told me it was the clutch binding on and not releasing properly... Thanks Brendan

  12. Hi just as topic says... When in 3rd, 4th, 5th, my vrs seems to maintain or slightly increase speed when im not even on the go pedal..? Been told its probibaly the clutch ?? Its an 04 Vrs, remapped, std clutch, dmf 135k, l believe its prob the original clutch to the car.. I dont mind changing clutch, l would kust like to know if im on the right track.. Cheers Brendan
  13. Hey buddy, I have had the exact same problem with my vrs for 2 months, I sorted it this weekend. Unfortunately it cost me £155 for a door latch. If you do a scan it should come up with a fault code relating to the car thinking the key is in the lock barrel held in the open position... Coupled with a faulty micro switch, it's a whole new module. Not the easiest job either, you'll need a couple of hours for replacement and a guide from the forum... I had done searches and found people saying £40-£60... Lol hence the shock when skoda told me £155
  14. Hey mate, I have a fault code 01033 and my symptoms are car is unlocking itself and putting windows down and no interior roof light on drivers door open and no lights buzzer also car will re arm itself even if drivers door has been opened. Do you think the micros witch could cause all these faults ??
