  1. superskoda/dot/com for original ones, ordered the full set (boot included), delivered in 3-4 working days Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk
  2. Lol. How I do it: *All filters: mann from eurocarparts online with click+collect (last time all were £42) *Oil: Mobil1 esp formula 5w30 (5L) from ebay (user: opieoils - used them for over 1year now) costs £34-38. I either do it myself or pay a mechanic friend £20 or a local garage £40 if the friend is not available. And they also check everything above. Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk
  3. Press the speaker button (right corner, the one with the i on) and the setup button at the same time for a few sec, you will have:FM AM Version information. Press Vi then see SW version, mine is upgraded (2009 superb aswell) and has SW 3814 and supports 16-32gb sdcards. Before took 2gb max. Good luck. Sent from my STV100-4 using Tapatalk
  4. Hello lads, I had problems in that department a while ago. Problem was one of the headlights controller (see pic 1), located under each of them, got humidity in it and stopped leveling and was pointed down. Skoda garage quoted me the big lottery prize at the time, as replacing that takes removing the whole bumper and the part was £280ish, I found one for £50 on eBay and had it done at a local garage. You might want to verify the rear sensor (on the suspension - near passenger side), mine was broken (got a new one of cars-equip). So skoda quoted for the whole thing: £600ish without the labour. Fixed mine for about £150 with the labour. Good luck.
  5. Vehicle's battery is new, was changed in november
  6. 1st thing I cheched, changed it, same. Tried the spare key, same..It makes the click sound tho like normal, but seems to me that the mechanism doesn't bounce back like it used to, as it works after opened from inside :-S
  7. Hey folks, Maybe someone had a similar situation, Last week when the temp. dropped to -5, tried to open the driver door and didn't work at 1st, then it did, after that everytime I lock it with the key, when unlocked cannot open the door but if opened from the inside (via passanger's door) works, once opened it works if shut, until locked by key. Now everytime I get to the car I hold long on the unlock so the window drops then I open it from the inside. Before starting to lego dismount the door in search of wonders.. Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks
  8. When I refurbished mine ones, the guys gave me a replacement set, ask them where you're about to do yours. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  9. Tyre wise, best ones I had in matter of consumption were (spring/summer) 4 x goodyears eff grip performance summer tyres with A for wet and A for fuel, got a maximum of 58-59 MPG's on motorways (cruising at max 75-80mph) but again, mine is a 2.0 170 4x4 so they were pretty good I think. Now I have Nokians Weatherproof (all season) and if I get to 50-51 MPG's on a longer journey than 20 miles, I quietly cheer and party inside but as said, the weather its an important factor aswell. Good luck Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  10. Hey folks, A few weeks back the engine light came on my S2 CR170, no error on the maxidot or different car behaviour (see pic), managed to get a vcds on it, cleared the errors, all good until I stop/start the engine: light back on, grr. Got this error: 1 Fault Found: 008201 - In take Manifold Flap; Bank 1 P2009 - 000 - Short to Ground - MIL ON Digged arount the internet and everyone seemed they had to replace either the EGR or the whole intake manifold = expensive job. Then I found these guys that they made this thing: https://www.dieselgeek.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=EGR-P2015 Checked the little arm on mine and it looks blocked backwards as the little dieselgeek bracket should have stopped it from going, does not move when start/stop like here: Thought this will be helpful for all the CR engine machines owners out there, cheaper solution tho. Some other links about: Will take it down today to check it for humidity on the electric part, etc, then order that bracket if thats the case, will update the status here after. Enjoy
  11. Was just curious, wasn't sure if those on ebay are ok or not.I will get an original one next month from a proper dealer. Better to be safe. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

  13. Are these for real? Can't update but is the latest.. Should I or should I not ?
  14. Right, the time has come to change the shock absorbers, asked my local mechanic bloke and he advised me to change the springs aswell. Had in mind the B6 shocks but now i'm a bit in doubt, thinking to go for this kit: http://www.nh-tuning.de/Suspension-technic/coilover-kits/Bilstein-B14-coilover-kits/SKODA/SUPERB-3T4/Bilstein-B14-PSS-coilover-kit-SKODA-SUPERB-3T4::863191.html Comes up to £760 delivered, the B6 shocks are around £420, so got me wondering if its worth the extra, highest everything or not? Any opinions, advices are welcomed. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
