First fault was the O2 Sensor as well. So looks like i need an O2 Sensor and a ABS sensor....

No i didn't, i don't believe there is anything wrong with the battery!

Hi lads and ladies, I have a 2011 Octavia VRS The other day i got an engine management light on, that i got Skoda garage to check. They reset the light and said it could be a low voltage battery that cause it. Now when the car is left parked for a few hours and i start it, i get the ABS, Traction Control and Tyre Pressure warning lights on the dash, with 2 or 3 loud and long beeps. After maybe 30 to 60 seconds all the light go off themselves. This morning the engine management light came back on. Error code from Torque are: http://www.dtcsearch.com/P2196/?from=Torque https://www.obd-codes.com/p2196 Anyone know what is causing all this.... i was told possible ABS Pump Sensor failing

So it ended up been a cracked vacuum pipe which someone had superglued back on and wrapped insulating tape around..... Got car serviced and when driving home the car went into limp mode. The mechanic found the cracked pipe when he had engine cover off and heard air escaping.

Hi guys, Back for more advice. The last couple of months my 11 reg vRS is rough as hell when started first and driven. The car literally shudders for about 5 minutes until it starts to warm up, after which it is fine. It almost feels like a wheel is loose. Any ideas?

Front and Back getting done

Hi guys, I have a 2011 Octavia vRS and am close to having to replace the discs and pads. Any recommendations from where to purchase and the exact ones to purchase or a possible upgrade on stock etc. I would rather buy myself and fit rather than go to Skoda who is charging close to €500 to do it. Any advice is welcome from you all. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the info Tilt. For no reason the back wiper has started working again after Skoda telling me the motor was gone on it!!!! Thinking there something more wrong than a dodgy switch :(

Hi everyone, Firstly happy Holidays/Christmas to you all Ok, so i own a 2011 Octavia VRS. Yesterday i noticed the driver window would not go down via the door button. It moves maybe half and inch then stops (jerking). If i keep pressing/releasing the button then little by little i can get the window to go down, inch by inch, if i get it down all the way, using the door button, the window goes back up perfectly. If i use the keyfob to open all windows it goes down perfectly and up again. Today it seems to be working intermittently, 8 times out of 10 it will go down perfectly using the door button, but then randomly go back to the inch by inch movement. I brought it to Skoda and they 'calibrated' the window by putting the window fully down and holding the down button on the door for 5 seconds, then back up again and holding the button for 5 seconds and sent me on my way. I didn't get 1 mile from the dealership and the problem was back with the window not going down properly and only jerking inch by inch. Anyone know what the hell is happening/what part is starting to fail. It might be worth noting that the back wiper stopped working about 3 weeks ago, Skoda tells me the motor is gone!

I was hoping someone would know where i could purchase the faceplate for the bluetooth inferface in the picture below or do i have to replace the whole unit

Hi Everyone, I am currently looking to purchase a 2011 VRS and have a couple of question that may be noobish so apologies in advance. I am in Rep. of Ireland but will be purchasing in Northern Ireland. Question 1) Does all the 2011's come with the 'Parking Assistance' feature, i see some ads mention this feature and some dont mention it at all. Question 2) Most 2011's seem to have the 'Cruise Control' controls located on a steering column stalk but i have seen a few with the controls on the steering wheel itself, is there a specific 2011 model with them on the steering wheel. Any info appreciated, Thank you
