I honestly wouldn't know where to start Phil lol. I wouldn't mind paying around £129 for it but couldn't believe it when she said £229. Will have to pop in and ask directly and hopefully get someone who knows what they're talking about!

Well I explained I just wanted the oil changing and also the filter but when she rang back with that quote I nearly choked on my coffee! I might go in and ask and see if it changes. Thought it sounded abit steep!

Sorry if this had been covered already but just wanted to ask for the most current quotes. I rang my local Skoda garage (Westgate Skoda, Grimsby) for a quote for the 40,000 miles oil and filter change. The price I was quoted was £229. Is this the current going rate or are they asking abit too much? Many thanks in advance!

As my local dealer I'm looking to take my Fabia 1.4 vRS to have its 40,000 DSG service (Car is currently on 37,000). Anyone had this done and if so able to tell me how much Westgate charge? Thanks in advance!

Well today was the day I picked up my Rallye Green Fabia 1.4 TSI vRS. She's got 37,000 on the clock and drives like a dream. Literally had a smile on my face from the minute I picked her up. Weather was abit pants today but I will get some pics up as soon as we have a dry day! I noticed when picking her up the log book says S2000 next to the title and there's a white rally logo above the indicator lights on the side can anyone shed any light on what that means? All in all a cracking car!!

It's the vally green colour. I was told its a limited edition as well and it has a sticker above the indicator lights? I used to own a Leon FR so I'm kind of sticking to the VAG side of things. Was really impressed with the car on the test drive and the DSG gearbox was amazing. Are there any common problems anyone can make me aware of? I've heard some models drink oil?
