Thank you for your interest. the lights go on and off as normal, until its been driven for around 40 mins, then all hell breaks loose.

I have had this Skoda Fabia SDi 2003 for a year, it drove all over France and into Italy this year, without a fault. On coming back to the UK it went straight through the MOT then had a service. Got up one morning and the car was as flat as a pancake. Battery is good. Jumped the car, went on a run, all seemed fine for about 15 miles then the power steering light came on the dash, lost power steering, no indicators, no windows, no speedo. Got home and noticed the brake lights were stuck on, even after ignition off. Car went flat over night. Took it to a local garage, changed the switch for the brake light, fine, took the car for a run, same thing happened with the steering ect. Brake lights do not stay on any longer. Took the stero out, car still went flat, jumped it, took it to the garage. Two days later, the garage calls and says they give up, they can't work out what is happening. A bit of further info, when the steering light comes on the steering goes, the indicators go, rev counter goes temp gage goes ect and all lights on the dash go out, if you disengage the clutch the dash lights up, indicators work, rev counter ect work but the steering doesn't come back, when this all starts to happen, you rev to over 2000 and all the stuff goes off again !! What on earth ? Any ideas? Garage said an error code of intermittent charge but says the alternator is good !!

Sorry I was not specific, the breaks went hard, the pipe snapped off the bit shown in picture and the breaks work fine, I did put my finger over the home left where the pipe was and there is s slight suction, so I tapped / blocked both the pipe end and the nipple bit it came from, I do t understand why it is now working. Thanks for the answer, if it's that good and ppl pay money, I can go and snap anyone's fir a fiver plus travel, I'm in France till October

hi guys, ok I taped both ends and breaks are amazing BUT, why is it and what damage or anything else can occur by doing it? I don't understand why it working. Cheers Steve

Not sure if in the correct area I'm on a mobile phone, my sdi breaks have gone hard, I followed the hard plastic pipe to the passenger side, it then goes to a round thing with another pipe soft pipe going into it, that has snapped would that cause my problem? Easy fix? I'm in France till September, can't see how to add a picture. Help

Can anyone who has a set of these please photograph them so i can see where the black bits are, ill have to use black tape on the lights, cheaper option. Thanks Steve

Well may you mock, it will go the same speed as a VRS, just takes longer so your eyes adjust to the dim lights.

Hi Guys, sorry to bother you all again, I'm a little lost on bulbs, I have a front headlight out and have searched about type of bulb. Ever other car I ever had was fitted with a H4, My SDI has, H7? H3 ? both, I have no idea. Help Thanks Steve
