  1. I have a Skoda (OEM) spare wheel set for sale due to selling my Mk2 Fabia Monte Black Edition. The wheel has never been used and comes with the jack etc.. I'll upload a few pictures tonight as well as the Skoda part number. The price is £ 110.00 but I am open to offers.
  2. It's so frustrating when you know the car is worth more but little interest ia generated. As you say, it's such a nice car as well. I'm only changing it to have a little fun in the ST. I'm tempted to keep the Skoda on for a bit with the ST as I don't want to give it away. The dealer who originally sold me the car when new has offered the best buy back figure so far (£7500) but I know that'll be up for £9500 immediately on the forecourt. I hate selling privately haha! Good luck with yours as well. Do let me know how it's goes!
  3. Hopefully. It's still early days so something may come up at the weekend. Thanks for the advice though.
  4. The dealer who I purchased the car from has offered me £ 7000.00 as well (trade in value). I don't seem to be having much luck!
  5. The only similar models are being sold by dealers. I haven't looked at how long they have been for sale for. Many have a lesser spec, are older or possess a higher mileage. I've only been advertising it since Monday so it could still be early days. I may drop the price to £ 8000.00 eventually. For a trade-in against the ST, I've been offered £ 7000.00.
  6. Hi guys, I'm trying to sell my Skoda Fabia Black Edition quite quickly as I've just brought a Fiesta ST200 at the last minute. I'm selling it for £ 8700.00 (ONO) but I'm unsure if this is a little high. In comparison to current ads, this doesn't look too bad! I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/411982-2014-skoda-fabia-black-edition-12-tsi-105-for-sale-£-8700/?hl=%2Bblack+%2Bedition
  7. Hi all, I'm selling my November 2014 Skoda Fabia Black Edition 1.2 TSI (105) as I’ve purchased a Fiesta ST. As you may already know, the Black Edition was a last hurrah for the MK2 Fabia and comes with a very good spec. Please see the included kit below; Black pearlescent paint Sports body kit (as Monte Carlo spec) 17" black painted alloys Touch screen sat-nav with 8 speaker stereo,CD player and iPod (MDI) connection (including MDI cable) (Amundsen + unit) DAB Radio Bluetooth Maxi-Dot Instrument Computer (this can display general car health information, sat-nav instructions, cd/radio/iPod music listing and phone information) Traction Control Front heated sports/bucket seats - silver and grey seat trim Spare wheel & space saver puncture kit (foam & compressor) Front and rear window deflectors (Skoda accessory) The car still has over three years of the manufacturer’s warranty remaining as I brought the Skoda five year option when the car was new (warranty expiry date: November 2019). I am the second owner but the car was offered to me as a 'pre-reg' special by the main dealer. It had only 11 miles on the clock when i brought it. It has been serviced by a Skoda dealer since new (the second service was completed recently). It drives brilliantly for a small 1.2 turbo - it feels like a 1.8! My average MPG is 48-52. I have taken very good care of this car and I'm only selling it for the ST200. I have only ever used high octane fuel (Shell V-Power etc.) and just treated it to a nano wax sealant and polish for the winter months! Apart from a tiny dent (bump) on the passenger door, the car is in an excellent 'like new' condition inside and out. I haven't repaired the dent as the paint surface wasn't damaged - it was done by a bicycle wheel! However, Skoda has quoted me roughly £ 200.00 to pull the dent out. It's so minor that it can only be seen when looking at the paint reflection (please refer to the final picture). The current mileage is 24,100 (mostly motorway miles) - this will increase slightly as the vehicle is used daily. Please note, the car is currently on a finance agreement but this will be paid off in full before the car is sold. For a quick sale, the car is advertised at £ 7995.00 ONO. All interested parties please pm me or either contact me on 07912 974237 or at [email protected] . I am located near Southend in Essex.
  8. Thanks for the offer Brimma. If the need arose, where about are you located (I'm in Essex)? Having the VCDS data may prove invaluable if a potential claim was disputed.
  9. Thanks for the replies and advice chaps. I'm waiting for a Case Manager at SUK to contact me on Monday in regards to this issue. I will ask for a copy of the warranty document stating this charge. I did challenge the SUK customer advisor on Friday about the exclusion of this charge in my warranty books but they can still apply this fee even if if isn't mentioned. Outrageous! I will try and arrange a warranty visit with a different dealer next week, hopefully this will be a better experience. My possible troubles consist of a bonnet that will not close properly (always bounces back up when closing), a very squeaky speedometer unit (I have read several similar issues on this forum) and a noisy chain during start up and idelling of engine. Very minor issues but Beadles want it all day + £60. A request for a quick 5 min viewing/advice of chain noise was also refused. If SUK send a copy of the T&C's with this charge included, I'll upload it for you all to view.
  10. I've just purchased a new Fabia Black Edition from Beadles Skoda in Maidstone. Excellent car but a little warranty work may be required. When I tried to book the vehicle in, the service dept. informed me of a mandatory charge to inspect the vehicle (£60). SUK confirmed this charge as well. Apparently they only pay for parts and labour to rectify not inspect and identify the faults as the parts are too expensive. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I've checked my warranty T&C's but nothing is said about this mandatory (non refundable) charge. This applies to all VAG group cars but not experienced it with my Polo or A1. I would appreciate advice on how to overcome this. Thanks. .
  11. Hi all, I have been really disappointed with the aftercare service provided by Beadles Skoda. I planned to book my vehicle in for two potential faults (under warranty) but I was told that an 'inspection fee' of £60 would apply if the fault wasn't found. I've never experienced this before with other Manufacturers/dealerships and couldn't believe such policy would be acceptable. I've even paid extra for the 5yr plan. In my experience with warranty work, the fault isn't always found on the first visit (reliance on electronic diagnostics etc.). This charge would apply on every visit made until the fault is located. If the fault was eventually found, they would supposedly refund this fee. Has anyone else experienced this fee at other Skoda dealerships during the warranty period?
