  1. I’m having the same issue, with the light switch set to auto the lights are constantly on, also the auto wipers no longer work! Any ideas which fuse needs to be checked ?
  2. Can anyone help with the part number for the top cover of the airbox which sits below the fuse box.
  3. Thanks Peter I plan to drive thru the night, depart Dunkirk around 11:30pm and fingers crossed only stopping for fuel. I hope to arrive in Vienna by around 1pm Friday.
  4. Thanks guys. Hopefully all kitted out, having tyres swopped over today to winter see hopefully they won't dent the mpg too much. Should be fun trip, will be driving thru the night to maximise driving time.
  5. Hi anyone done Vienna from the UK? If so how long did it take? What do you think is the best route? How much fuel did you use? What things should I look out for?
  6. Can anyone recommend anyone to refurb 4 wheels on my Superb in East Birmingham. Ideally would like to have them done by Wednesday if possible.
  7. Hi John, thanks for that the car is going back to the supplying dealer for them to check the seat again. The dealership had to change the control module on the seat back in the summer. Let's see what excuses they come up this time!
  8. Quick update - Skoda UK have been in touch and asked what the problem was, explained, asked whether the vehicle had been inspected by a Skoda dealer ( strange as I have been told the Skoda UK rejected the claim), mileage of the car. I have been told that I will have an update on Thursday as to the status of my claim. Fingers crossed.
  9. I bought the car 12 months ago from a Skoda dealer in Birmingham with 12 months warranty. My question is surely the dealer should have know that the heated seats were not covered before taking the car and then telling me that and building my hopes up that yes the seats are not heating as they should and will try the warranty department! My argument is that now you've started you have to finish it. If I had been told from the start that they were not covered that would have been it.
  10. Anybody successfully overturned a rejected claim with Skoda UK? Submitted a claim for problems with heated seated (bases not getting upto temperature), to be told 10 days after the dealer inspected the vehicle and agreed that they were not right, that the seats are not covered by the warranty. My argument is that if that was the case they shouldn't have looked at the vehicle in the 1st place. Anybody help?
  11. Mine seems to sit at 1000rpm nearly all time is this something to worry about ? Should I get it seen to ? Off to Austria in 10 days don't really need any problems.
  12. How does one know when it is regenerating if that's th correct word for the process ?
  13. Do quite a lot of miles in her so can't see it being the DPF being clogged, my need a visit to Skoda if it's a sensor as its still under warranty till the end of January
