  1. Jambo I've got a 184 vrs with a revo re-map from Clive Atthowe, I live in Norfolk, can always take you out in mine. Had no problems with it, awesome service and map. Tom.
  2. Well version 2 of my re-map has now been on for a while, car has now done just shy of 20K as to 11K when I had it mapped. Just had it serviced and back on the rollers final figures below and just scrubbing in a full set of Continental sport contact 5's Pre-map Power 183.3 bhp at 3,872 rpm Torque 256.9 lbft at 3,357 rpm Post-map version 1 Power 230.1 bhp at 4,545 rpm Torque 320.4 lbft at 2,402 rpm Post-map version 2 Power 229.0 bhp at 4,440 rpm Torque 339.9 lbft at 2,639 rpm
  3. Well it turns out that I had version 1 of the revo re-map on! I've been back and had version 2 put on and WHAT a difference! Will hope to get it back on rollers soon and post results.
  4. Hurdy if you look at the figures it's down from stock, the remap has given it the right gain it's just down on torque before the re map
  5. Yeah I had Michelin pilot sports fitted on my 300bhp Mountune Ford Focus ST they were a very good tyre indeed! Soon at stock tyre's are worn out will be putting some sticky rubber on so hopefully it will help.
  6. To be honest yeah it will spin up in the dry in 2nd but so would a lot of things with that power you just have to modulate your right foot but it's fine to be honest it really doesn't need a different set up on the front end or an LSD and I've had a car with a LSD before so I know what difference it would make.
  7. I'm interested to know if anyone's knows why it's down on torque from standard or if anyone has had a revo map with better torque figures than me?
  8. Got it done at Clive Atthowe. You struggle to get the grip down off the lights you really have to modulate the throttle, you can switch it off with an sps box. Not sure on warranty or DPF, sure it will be fine. No comment on insurance!
  9. Hi all I've had my 2015 Skoda 184 VRS estate revo'd here are the results comment as you like! I had the oil/filter changed just before remap it had done approx 11,000 miles at time of re map, always been run on branded fuel normally shell or Esso. The ambient temperature at time of remap was approx 27 degrees so quiet a hot day, little down on torque which is disappointing anyone know why? I hope the link below works and takes you to a picture of the map, let me know if it doesn't Pre-map Power 183.3 bhp at 3,872 rpm Torque 256.9 lbft at 3,357 rpm Post-map Power 230.1 bhp at 4,545 rpm Torque 320.4 lbft at 2,402 rpm https://goo.gl/photos/JuMA2qJJmFKv44yHA
  10. The only way to find out exactly how much refrigerant is in the system is to weigh it out unfortunately.
  11. Ha! Yeah sorry grams or kilograms same thing 700 grams 0.7 kilograms!
  12. Hi Telboy5 The first thing to get done is get the gas that is in the air conditioning system taken out and ask who you use to tell you how much they have taken out, they will weigh it out in kilograms. This will tell you wether it was low on gas or not, If it is slightly low then that is most likely the problem. If it's not then you know it's either an electrical problem or a problem with the compressor. The problem your experiencing could be intermittent due to being low on gas as refrigerant gas changes pressure according to ambient temperature so if it is slightly low on gas it could then make it an intermittent fault due to ambient temperature making it cut in and out on the low pressure sensor. Refrigerant gas always leaks from vehicles due to the high pressures, fine vapour it escapes through the rubber hoses over a long period of time hence having to have vehicles re gassed every 3-6 years approx. this is normal and don't think it will be covered under warranty. Just so you know I'm an air conditioning and refrigeration engineer with 12 years experience. I hope I know what I'm talking about by now!
