Thanks all for your input but the car is purfect when driven in afternoons strange, also sometimes when you start from cold revs hunt from 400 - 1000. Yesterday and today drove 100 yards down road popped into 2rd gear and juddering was there and revs only 2500 foot to floor. had to drive in first gear unless you go for it which is a bit hard in a 30 limit, it seems to missfire "Lumpy" on one injector thats what i think, if you keep driving smoke everywhere pull over and sit for 10 mins i can go again. Garage has had car But no fault they say. Oh they did change Exaust Temp Sensor.

Hi New to this but i have an ongoing problem which my garage cannot find. Today about 5 degrees started ok left house got about 1 mile down road and you feel engine slighty jurking at low revs 1800 below. got to roundabout and stopped, pulled away put into 2rd gear and car very lumpy and stalled, restarted and could only drive in 1st gear then loads of black smoke for 1 mile pulled over and left on tickover for 5mins car would not rev above 2500. started journey again ok but still lumpy at low revs only slightly. I have 3 good days and 3 bad days every week. Can anyone please give me any solutions. Thanks
