  1. Happened to my key about two year ago and lost the blade! Been using the spare and now that has cracked so timpsons cut me a new blade and I’ve super glued it to the old fob. Works good
  2. I’m still stuck on what to buy. People saying Bilsteins are poor quality and I should go oem or kyb. All I know is I can’t stand driving the car as it is now because of the coil overs!
  3. Have you experienced the ride? The roads are horrendous around me. I like being able to fling it up a kerb if need be too
  4. Hello, as the title states I am wanting OEM or better suspension. I’m sick to death of my coilovers and need the car to be comfortable as I do about 300 miles a week, sometimes more. Will Bilstein B4 shock absorbers fit the vRS? Along with standard springs.
  5. Mate what you reckoning to the ride quality? My back is killing since I’ve put these on
  6. Mines also made this noise in 3.5 years of ownership. Among a few others too such as but not limited to clunking into 5th (audible with windows closed and whilst travelling at speed), clunking into 1st when stopping at a junction or roundabout and juddering whilst attempting to pull away in 2nd from an almost complete stop Worry when it breaks chaps!
  7. Did you hear a hissing noise? When I changed my plugs I accidentally removed a vacuum pipe off of the intake, rather tricky to spot.
  8. Hello does anyone have experience with Bluespark tuning boxes? i have had one lying in my boot for over a year now which I bought off of a fellow vRs driver in 2016. It has 3 sets of plugs, one for boost sensor, one for maf and an unmarked one which is 3 pin. Could anyone shed some light on where this 3rd set goes? I’ve had it on the car and working with just boost and maf plugged in.
  9. All sorted. Plugged it into a snap on diagnostic machine at my local garage and it found misfires on all cylinders. Got them to reset it and then made the car boost funny again. Went back and only one code remaining. Bank 4 misfire. Changed all plugs and it’s sweet as a nut now
  10. Yes. 4 new ready to fit in the boot. Should have seen the plugs that were in before these ones. Must have done 30/40k on them.
  11. Water pump changed at 100k. All went wrong at once. Gearbox first then 2 hours later waterpump fully packed in. I have 4 new BKR7s as I suspected it to be the issue originally.
  12. 106k, spark plugs changed at 99k. BKR7s installed by a garage. Rest is standard except centre resonator delete
  13. Hello. It’s weird because it will boost if I wind the throttle in slowly. Planting the accelerator gives me the weird boost spikes. My DSG packed in last July. Mechatronic unit removed and sent to a specialist in Derby for repair. They found no fault so it was reinstalled in my car and basic adaptations performed. Ran fine since. My guess is some fluid had leaked from the mechatronic unit itself and into the gearbox as I noticed the gasket was stretched.
  14. Noticing my mk2 is boosting weird in high revs, like it’s overboosting. EML flashes and then car doesn’t let me boost until it goes off. Sometimes it does it at low revs and it’s more noticeable, feels like a misfire and can jolt you forward when you least expect it. Cant scran a GTD when it’s like this
