  1. Might have answered my own question.. Is it for the disk changer?
  2. Hey guys.. Changing the stereo in my car and I've come across this blue, green and yellow adapter.. I've connected the black and brown bits and the stereo does work fine.. So what's this for?
  3. So coming on to Sheffield Parkway this morning just after Park Square roundabout a red GTR caught my attention. At the first set of lights he pulled up next to me and gave me a quick look to let me know that **** was about to go down. I knew I had no chance but I wasn't backing down. As the lights go green we set off slowly waiting for the second set of lights to change, they do and my foot goes down to the floor. The torque pulls the Furby away, I'm doing well, the little 1.9 tdi standard Furby is doing well until the red short shifting GTR breezes past me containing a driver with the smuggest of faces. It's safe to say, I got a really good look at the back of his car. Fair play to the guy though, he was up for a laugh and many supercar owners wouldn't give me or the fabia the time of day. I'm pretty sure he will be telling his mates how he blew a little yellow skoda away this morning on the parkway. But, this isn't over. The fabia will get remapped, and we will meet again.
  4. I don't use it in the car what so ever and my dad was wondering whether the 6 disk Cd multi changer in my Fabia could fit in a b8 Audi A4? Would it work in an A4?
  5. I recently bought some Eibach Pro springs from DPM performance.. Lowered it by 25mm which doesn't sound like much but it's enough.. Better road handling without compromising the ride too much.
  6. A friend of mine had the F1 version a few years back.. Had nothing but problems with it, electrical faults, injectors, throttle body, air con and it didn't like passing many petrol stations.. He got rid and got a Focus ST.. Surely you could get a decent Audi S3, Leon Cupra or a Golf GTI for a similar price?
  7. Okay, so just bought and received some Eibach pro springs from DPM Performance (were delivered in record time btw). Having opened the box there are 4 metal rings included in zip bags. There aren't any instructions for what they are so I looked on the forum and apparently they're for the steering lock? So are they for the steering lock? And where do they go exactly? Because I'm fitting them myself.
  8. Cheers for the replies guys.. I've made the decision and just purchased some Eibachs from DPM Performance.. I'll also take note of the rear bump stops as mentioned
  9. I've seen a few threads on suspension and noticed a few people have their cars on Eibach or H&R springs. So my question is, apart from the difference in price and the fact that the H&R springs lower by 5mm more.. Is there any difference between the two?
  10. Ignore this and refer to the other post.. Forgot to attach the photo
  11. Just changed the thermostat on my vrs and noticed that this pipe had seen better days and is not looking too good.. It runs from the coolant reservoir along the front of the engine block
