  1. Evening all. It's been a while since I have posted or even really been on here. So busy with work etc it's been hard to find the time. Been doing quite alot of product testing recently and venturing into the world of Ceramics. Recently came across this product. Offering 9 months durability, crystalizes like a ceramic would and applied like one also but very very easy to use. Starts at £30 for 250ML but as most products of this calibre you don't use alot. Still haven't got round to polishing the wagon due to work so today, an early rise to wash and decon etc the panels I'd chosen to correct & test. Tac Systems Reccomend use of this product indoors so I got the back end of the car in the garage.. rest won't fit Haha! it needs a cure time of 6 hours minimum with out getting wet or there is potential of water spotting.. I've recently seen folk using products like this on customers cars outside in direct Sun light and I wouldn't Reccomend it at all. Applied with a microfibre application in straight lines left to right, up & down.. residue removed & then a light wipe with another clean microfibre to catch any remaining residue. It's as easy as that. A very impressive bit of kit for the money really. There is others on the market id like to try. I'd also like to test the "proper ceramics such as Gtechniq CSL and Fenylab Ceramic light. Here's some photos for you all. I'll await the beading & keep you updated on durability. Thanks to in2detailing for the delivery.
  2. I tend you use either Autobrite Leather cleanse or Dr leather wipes. Do the initial clean with said product and have a bucket of warm water and a clean cloth in. Do the wipe down, brush or what ever way you want to clean the leather and then wipe away any residue with the rung out damp cloth from the bucket. This ensures you remove the residue and dirt pulled from the pours of the material. You could then go ahead and protected it with something along the lines of Gtechniq L1 leather guard etc.
  3. Great questions.. Snow foam.. dependant on which you purchase between 5/7 minutes usually for me whilst all gaps and crevices are cleaned with a detailing brush & all purpose cleaner. The two bucket method... for me it literally depends on the weather. As daft as it sounds... Hot water is always best but in extremely warm weather, the cold water cools the panel down.. so either or really. After waxing I usually wait around an hour and then a final wipe down with a quick detailer usually finishes down nicely. Cheers. Karl.
  4. Waxstock was awesome! I still can't believe the bargin on this.. You practically stole it!!!!
  5. I'm sure you'll be quite impressed. If you come across any stubborn dirt, agitate with a soft leather cleaning brush. The fresh leather scent in leaves behind is lovely!
  6. Works every time for me buddy, just be sure to use IPA or decent glass cleaner to shift any tardis residue & smell!
  7. AD Leather Cleanse is a beauty.. I'm cleaning my leather in the vRS every week for no reason just cause I love the smell of it LOL! A little Goes along way though which is a huge bonus!
  8. I remove the dealer stickers (Not sure if it's similar to what your trying to do) but to remove glue and residue afterwards I use a little tar and glue remover on a cloth. Wipe away with IPA then just use a glass cleaner.
  9. Exactly why i offered really. It's never around for you to clean! Glad you enjoyed the Octavia, still loving it myself! I'm sure we will find some time to get the polishers out and give the R36 & Octavia some love this year! Well have to organise something mate, as overdue a beer or 2!
  10. Helped a friend out last week. Ste has Limited time to spend on the .:R36 so offered to spend all afternoon on it. Finished up with two coats of Defintive Wax Cora, BSD on the wheels are these are already sealed & FK1000P on the wheels. Inside got a thorough clean with carpets, foot mats & seats hoovered, leather cleaned & inside fogged. I do love this car as Ste well knows! I just happened to have the afternoon off & the weather was good!
