Hi It had a years warranty with it, which again is why I thought it would have been serviced, as it stands now in order to keep the warranty I will have to have it serviced in 3 months...it feels a little like I am being sucked into having to pay for a service as a sting for the years warranty. The pre-sale check isn't worth the paper its written on either, 1 week in and the coolant warning level alarm went off, coolant 1" below minimum, have topped it up at the roadside but it looks like it is losing some very slowly...also on first day home discovered both catches for the boot cover roller thing were bust....still glad I bought from a main dealer for the first time in my life....

Hi I am new to this forum having only bought a Fabia 10 days ago. I wanted to ask a view from here though. I bought a 2012 Fabia from a main dealer, and aside from having an MOT and valet had assumed they would service it. When I picked it up it had not had a service, last service was 8 months ago. I can honestly say this is the first time in my driving lifetime - 26 years, that I have bought a car which did not have a service when it was sold. So much so that I did not ask at the time because I assumed they would do it out of course. Equally so far have two faults with the car - 10 days in, not good.... any views? Is it just me? thanks
