  1. Finally got around to doing this. I used this workshop guide page (http://workshop-manuals.com/skoda/octavia-mk2/vehicle_electrics/electrical_system/lights_lamps_switches_outside/headlights_with_xenon_discharge_lamps/headlights_with_xenon_discharge_lamps_up_to_my_08/convert_headlight_for_left-hand/right-hand_traffic/). However, it is wrong for the left lamp. The switch is behind the hole in latticed plastic piece as shown, it is on the other side. At least I hope it is the manual that is wrong and not that I have an incorrectly manufactured light unit. I'll test it when it gets dark to see if the beam is now flat. Thanks for all the help.
  2. Hi Wayne. Finally got round to pulling out a light unit to get a picture. What am I looking for? Or do I have to take off the transparent cover?
  3. Hi Wayne, thanks for your response (have now edited notification settings to get an email). I pulled the light units out once to see if I could do this but wasn't sure what to do. Do you know if there's a picture of the lever somewhere?
  4. I have a pre-facelift Octavia II and need to flatten the beam when I go to France a bit later this year. Unfortunately, the link in post #5 is dead (expired domain). Anybody know of anywhere else I can find a guide? Alternatively, can this be done on a pre-facelift car through VCDS?
