  1. When my previous lease cars have been returned, the lease provider ( not necessarily the supplying dealer) has arranged collection. This was BCA for my last leased car that went back.
  2. Thank you for the replies. Feels like a Scout 150 again, might try a test drive in a 184 with DSG. I have it with my Golf and it does not quite work for me. Agree the headlights on the Scout are not the best. Hopefully a decent lease deal on the new model will come along.
  3. I currently have a leased diesel Scout 150 which goes back in May. Currently on the look out for a replacement, the family like the ride comfort provided by the current car. The size, space and overall experience has been very positive, I would prefer a bit more performance. Not keen on the DSG box, so the option might be a VRS. Does anyone have experience of both a Scout and a VRS with regard to ride comfort ?

  5. That is not something I have noticed with my Scout. Might be worth getting a friend/the dealer to have a go
  6. What mode do you have the gearbox in sport, eco or normal ?
  7. Had my Scout for just over 6 months. 150 manual blue. Just over 8000 miles mainly on long holiday or motorway runs. Average 49-51 mpg. First Skoda, best points space, easy to drive long distances and good stat nav system. Not so good...not the most interesting looking car, small fuel tank and dipped headlights could be brighter. Is a very easy car for a family to live with. You should enjoy it
  8. That's interesting, broker/dealer quotes were higher for metallic by circa £17pm for my scout. When I queried it ( my lease Corsa was only £'s more for metallic than red or white, due to better residuals) they replied that VW group did not factor this in and charged the full amount for metallic. Seems a false economy to me, as per the comments above.
  9. Manual Scout which is nearly 4 months old with 4100 miles on the clock. Long term average of 49.7mpg. 80% of that mileage was two summer trips to France, fast A roads and motorway. Car was reasonably loaded up, air con working hard most of the time. One trip was of an Alpine nature and therefore hit the fuel consumption hard, but A roads (70 mph ) pulled it back. Gentle local trips get 52-54 mpg. The good bit, diesel was 76p a litre whilst in France
  10. Based on your position I think I would go GTD. If you did not have the current car would go 518d. Nice colour, black looks good the day you get it, but afterwards ?
  11. Is leasing an option you have considered? Any thing on the company car list other than VAG stuff?
  12. Should be can not get ! #%$¥€ keeps correcting what is already correct
