I've been trying to buy a towbar from skodateile since May, however apart from an initial email from them acknowledging the request I've had no responses to my (very polite) attempts to place an order. Time has run out now and I've had to look elsewhere; it's a shame as it would have saved me a considerable amount and I'd have been likely to order other stuff from them.

Not a name, but in order to remember the registration my wife has the phrase "Happy Now 61, Got Wonderful Guy" (we got married in Sept 2011)

MarkyB77, that seems like a really good deal, nearly £200 less than I've found locally in Sussex. Are you allowed/would you be willing to share who the installer was? Thanks a lot, Ian

Hi All, Just thought I'd say hello; collected our 61-plate Superb 2.0 TDI CR170 Elegance (manual) yesterday, and really enjoyed the 165 mile journey home Our priorities and search criteria evolved over the course of time and we had to widen the area (and our budget) a bit, but it was worth the wait to get the right car for us. We would have been very happy with the 140 but couldn't find one with all the options we wanted so went with the 170 in the end. It will be used to tow a boat as well as ferry the family around. I'm sure I'll have loads of questions over the coming months; currently contemplating retro-fitting front parking sensors, just weighing up the perceived necessity versus faff-factor. Cheers Ian
