  1. I swapped my Wheels and tyres across and it made no difference. I've got a clunk somewhere over bumps. Hopefully it's that. Passed its mot like. Meh I'll find it.
  2. I know mate. It drove better too. was planted at silly speeds. This one is a bit wayward. I was telling the lad that bought it I feel like I sold the wrong one! I'll get this one sorted. Just time and money ha ha
  3. You mean the one I've just sold ha ha Can you remember the figures as Davey can't. Who forgets how much power their car makes ha ha
  4. Thanks for the info folks. I'm leaning towards an xman clutch and a new sachs dmf. doesn't sound like my turbo is going to go an awful lot higher than it currently is so anything more extreme clutch wise is likely to be wasted unless I went for a bigger GTB.
  5. It is a GTB not a hybrid. I'm thinking replace clutch with uprated item, new dmf and then remap for the extra torque that it will hold. I know the current map is a clutch "friendly" one, so for the sake of argument say it's 300ftlbs. If it was pushed to 360/70 that's a 20% increase in torque. Surely that will be noticeable.
  6. I thought standard injectors were good for 240+
  7. Not a clue mate. Guy I bought it from couldn't remember exactly what it made or what boost it was running. If there is enough headroom in the turbo to warrant it I'll stick an uprated clutch in and remap for more torque. Didn't yours do 235 and high 300s?
  8. Hi as the title suggests what is the limit of a gtb1756 in power and torque. The car I've bought has one fitted and the clutch is slipping so I'm toying with upgrading the clutch and then remapping further.
  9. Cheers for the info gents. Sounds like these guys know their onions.
  10. Can't see a lot of PD tuning on their site. Are they proven in the community?
  11. Hi folks, I've been away from the forums for a while and in the meantime it seems faboka has stopped doing remaps so I'm having to ask this question I've previously used a local firm (north east remaps) and been happy with their work, however they are quite conservative. I'm hoping to get a popcorn limiter and launch control as part of the map. Looking for someone in the north east or who does remote mapping like John used to. Thanks Pete
  12. I'm just about to sell it actually. I'm about to buy a gtb powered one from a guy at work. It's the silver 05 one which you did all the work on about a year ago.
  13. Sorry to dig up an old thread. It really is 2k before it gets going but it's starting before then. I did a 30-70 video in 3rd gear and it still picked up well sub 2k. It's a rapid little car. My friend has a jap spec ep9 CTR and he can't keep up once I'm in 3rd gear. That thing has all sorts of shiny bits on it too. My other mates s2000 only just gets away from me. I've loved the car. Hopefully done hutchys work proud by continuing to invest in the car, 312s, ap coil overs (sorry mate those yams were aweful) I'd say the car is the best blend for a daily driver.
  14. Just stumbled across this thread. I'm the "new" owner of hutchies car. Still going strong with that turbo. 16k since It was remapped to just shy of 220bhp. Still pulls really well and is easy to average well into the 50s on my daily commute.
