  1. I have an Sel Drive on a 17 plate and has everything you're asking for. The only things I wish it had are a panoramic sunroof and reversing camera, however would have had to go to a L and K model to get these.
  2. Its been around 8 months since Ben last posted and I wonder how he got on. Although I am on my 7th Skoda since 1995, I do wonder sometimes how Skoda always finish near the top in the JD Power Survey each year.
  3. Hi Graham Welcome to the Forum. I've also got a long history with Skoda, my first was a new Felicia in 1997.
  4. Have just reread your posts. Did you order your car and collect it within the week? If that is the case was the car already in the U.K?
  5. Looks really good. Hopefully picking ours up in the next 2 weeks.
  6. Looks great. We pick ours up next month, same colour.
  7. Hi, I pick up my new Yeti next month which also takes Adblue. My query is, my local BP Garage has an Adblue pump next to one of its diesel pumps and the price per litre is very competitive against buying a container as well as being quite convenient. Has anyone ever used this method of topping up the tank? Thanks.
  8. We were in the same position. When the dealer contacted me, they could only offer Petrol Blue or Quartz Grey. Since the blue was my no. 1 choice at the outset, it was a no-brainier. Enjoy your new car.
  9. 2.0 Tdi 150 with manual box.
  10. Hi, Just ordered a new Yeti Outdoor Sel Drive 4wd in Petrol Blue. Got a cracking deal and should pick it up in the next 2-3 weeks. This will be our 7th Skoda over the years, however our first Yeti.
  11. Petrol Blue, 2.0tdi 150 Sel 4x4. Seventh Skoda we'll have owned, however first Yeti. Pick it up in 4 weeks.
  12. As soon as I saw the photo and before I scrolled down, I immediately thought of tar spots, however they do seem quite high up for tar spots to be the problem.
  13. I know, strange but true. The only issue I've had is that the front parking sensors are sometimes far too sensitive. Skoda Ayr checked them at the 1st service and unsurprisingly found nothing amiss.
  14. I've had my Sel for 14 months now and 11000 miles. No issues whatsoever with the gearbox and no creaks from the dashboard either.
  15. Take a look at Carfile.net. Got my last 3 cars from them including my current Fabia Estate. I use my local Skoda Dealer in Ayr for servicing etc, however I would never buy from them. Good for picking up brochures though.
  16. I've owned my car now for 16 months and have no problems with the armrest. I'm 6'2 and have the seat in its lowest position and as far back as it'll go. The armrest is in a slightly downward position and I find that with my forearm on it, the gear-lever is in an ideal position. I do agree that it gets in the way slightly when putting the seat belt on, but not enough to bother me.
  17. Have to agree. Had the Mk2 Superb Estate in Cappuccino Beige and thought it looked pretty classy.
  18. I have the manual and around town get 45, on a run 55. Interestingly, prior to my current car, I had the Focus Ecoboost with the 125bhp. Brim to brim figures was always 41mpg regardless of how I drove it. Liked the car, but always thought the figures were disappointing.
  19. I've had my Fabia Estate for 10 months now and brim the tank on a weekly basis. The lowest I've had is 45 mpg for a week of pure urban driving and the best on a run was 55. Being in my mid 50s I'm obviously not a boy racer, however neither do I drive like Miss Daisy.
  20. Nope. Have owned mine now for 9 months and 7000 miles.
  21. When I picked my car up in April, the Autolock hadn't been enabled, however it only took the Technician 2 mins with his laptop and it now activates at 10 mph.
  22. I had the VRS back in 2004. Great car with 52mpg, however if it is only for short distance motoring, I would strongly consider a petrol.
  23. No, I bought it cash plus p/ex a Ford Focus.
