  1. 2008 skoda with 123676 miles on and its a 1.9 TDI PD DSG,,just abit info what are the automatic like thanks
  2. wear sensor how do you shorted it out,my one is snaped in side the cable were the 4 are,just stuck new pads on last week so I no that's ok just that light on dash lol
  3. my car is the same been told it is a Steering Wheel Angle Sensor that fits behind steering wheel

  5. I done this job on the week end got me self m9 kit, wow it went ok for once job took about 20mins 10quid for kit job sorted cheers for all the replays
  6. well looks like the hubs I got were not right ones I tried 2 no joy so looks like it might be down to the helicoil now so people are saying use M9 is this right,and do I just use the old pins well one ,so iam getting this right drill tap and stick m9 in hole snap lug of then use my old bolt
  7. does any one no if a VW GOLF MK5 wheel hub would fit on a Skoda Octavia II 2005 19tdi
  8. well got me 2nd hand hub from local scrap yard took it off for me to, well drive shaft caliper all for 20quid and booked in garage for 3pm cost 20quid so 40 quid seems fair,,,
  9. the caliper is ok its just one slider thats screws into the hub with has a fixed bracket the hole that the slider screws into is strpped took it to a local garage he says if i get 2nd hand hub he will fit it 20+,,
  10. just been doing front discs and pads, all ok about from one thing the Caliper slide that the Caliper slides on has striped in side the hub side it will not tighting up can I still drive this ok or how can this be fixed
  11. all sorted now it was down to the nut being abit slack on the damper that goes into the Strut Mounting nipped it up job done
  12. cheers lads I look tomorr,,just had boot open and was jumping like a mad man near the corner were it is no knocks or bangs or any kind of nosie at all lol
  13. getting a knock coming from the back left hand side,,seems like its in the back around the boot side,it sounds like if door was not shut or the seatbelt stuck behind back seats I thought it was the door panel at 1st seemed like if it was not tight,had a mate jump in boot and he says its coming from corner were the wheel is,so can the Strut Mounting do this if so how can I check cheers
  14. does the back brakes on a Octavia II 2005 19tdi have wear sensors on,,or is it just front because iam getting the warning light on but brakes seem ok
  15. I be doing oil and stuff in next few weeks so I will reset the service indicator been reading how to reset it by holding down the trip
  16. I had the car for about 14 mouth now only thing I done was oil changes and filters,,i would say yes about 9000miles

  22. just tried calibration it like you said still offset I little bit with orange light on still
  23. don't no the code but I all so have speed sensors, abs fault but lad said it was sensors that fit in the wheels,so I need four of them doing to and the steering angle sensor to
  24. just going of what lad say he ran that VAG and came up with Steering Angle Sensor says you have to take steering wheel off to fix it so don't no if this is right,,like I said before my steering is off set abit when driving and has that orange light on that looks like a steering wheel
