  1. I agree, but if you've ever used Traffic Jam Assist in an DSG model you'll know that the whole point of the system is really to relieve the driver from the constant brake-accelerate-brake cycle in stop-go traffic, so if TJA doesn't achieve this in a manual transmission, it can hardly be claimed to be TJA at all.
  2. It's on the Skoda web-site here: https://www.skoda-auto.com/world/octavia-videos - scroll down to "Traffic Jam Assist" and you'll see "The fourth-generation ŠKODA OCTAVIA offers the Traffic Jam Assist also for vehicles fitted with manual transmission." which seems pretty definitive, if rather difficult to believe - hence my question.
  3. Does anyone have any experience of Traffic Jam Assist (part of the Travel Assist add-on) with a manual transmission? Skoda says that this feature is now available on manual transmission MKIV models but I’m interested to understand how it works to stop and start the car in traffic when there’s a manual clutch involved!?
