Hello Everyone i really need help,and i don't want to pay stupid prices to skoda to find the problem,as i can't afford i have a amazing breaking skoda company what sells cheap parts which also helps me the Issue i have: My reverse sensor has stopped working,when i put the car (Blue Skoda Octavia Vrs 2007 Mk2 ) in reverse the sensor (image) and sound doesn't work,i took this to a friend,who said i need a new sensor box which i purchased for £30 from a breaking company it arrived and i fitted it today,it's doing the same issue when i place it in reverse it makes a long beep noise then,then no image or sound will appear, then when i take it out of reverse the image of the car will appear for 1second now i have 2 sensor boxes,which i believe are working as the image wouldn't show at all :/ so why does the image not show on the screen when i stick in reverse and why does my reverse sensors (noise) go off when i reverse close to objects? shall try another sensor box? is it a sesnor what has failed? i don't have clue i need help :/ Thankyou for reading

Thanks guys, people have said cambelt and pump will need to be changed at 120k atm i have 92k will i be okay, as i was hoping to change it at 100k miles it is 2006 octavia vrs and i want to remap it to 265bhp

ill go for stage 1.5 i want 260-270bhp i have been told i wont need to upgrade exhaust by the tuners maybe intercooler would help also what is a cam follower?

My cambelt and pump has not been changed i have 92k on the clock will i be okay till 100k miles??

I have recently bought a beautiful 2007 octavia vrs it currently has awesome k&n induction with a heat shield and a dumb valve value of both them and fitting costed £500 so it was professionally done when i purchased the car he said it was remapped but no evidence was there so if i get a dyno run how would i know it has been remapped will it be running 40bhp more? and if it's remapped i want to go to stage 2 and getting it running at 260-270bhp will that be okay for the turbo ? as some other threads say anything over 280bhp need to change the turbo to k04 as the skodas have k03 turbos fitted if i am able to get 260-270bhp without changing the turbo what will i need to get and i dont really want a exhaust system due to the fact my is in good condition and saves me a lot of ££

will a audi s3 intercooler fit on a 2006 octavia vrs what will i need the intercooler and hose pipes ? as i want to upgrade my intercooler and dont want to spend to much someone let me know =)

Hello what is a can bus does it save your battery draining? because i want a DVD unit and i will be watching DVDs without the engine running but i dont want my battery dieing but i want an aftermarket headunit

my car doesn't have any steering controls :/ is there any videos out there to help me fit it? as a company said they would fit one for £120 sounds abit pricey are you able to send a link where i can buy a loom adaptor i have done standard headunits what has positive and negative connections and a simple iso for steering i will go to skoda tomorrow to buy a headunit fitting kit and facia i will also show them the headunit size i will be getting which is 7" is that okay size?

If i was going to buy one such as kenwood/pioneer hopefully buy reverse camera with it would i need to purchase double din headunit fitting kit 7" / iso cable what other cables what is can-bus about, people say i need that can someone please explain the exact parts i will need to buy if i wanted to changed my headunit to aftermark such as kenwood or alpine as im a newbie i have only done simple double dins on astras very straight forward i was really hoping to get the parts this weekend but not sure what i need, Please help Thanks
