  1. No worries, an auto electrician may be able to advise some fault I can't see from x-y? Thanks for your input. 👍
  2. Asz, just checked the loom where it jumps from the engine bay to the bulkhead vacuum box and again all wire seem ok, no obvious breaks or shorts? I'm stumped......
  3. Thanks, no vaccum leaks and all the pipes seem ok, seals still good. Connecting plugs and ends all ok, nothing torn etc. It's so intermittent, maybe once a week and only upon start up, it does not appear when driving, any more thoughts?
  4. I get an intermittent code thrown up occasionally, a basic scanner identified it as P0236, this points to MAP sensor. I removed the bumper, replaced with a new sensor and put everything back, cleared code etc and it seemed ok..... Next day randomly came on again. Sometimes goes about a week with no problem, so the new sensor was a waste of time..... Could it require a new MAF sensor to work in conjunction? Would rather not waste £100+ if it won't help, could it be wire, plug? Hoses seem ok without splits etc, but it starting to get a little laborious to work out the problems esp as I can only work on it at the weekends Anyone with this problem before, or some good advice would be much appreciated, before sending into a mechanics, for a big bill!! Thanks for you help/advice in advance.
