Hi,
i have a high mileage 2011 estate, which has developed a fault with an airbag light and the horn doesn’t work. I had a grauching noise from the steering wheel when this happened and understand it’s the clock spring.
I have a mechanic to fit this, but Skoda want £250+ for the part. I used the tool on eBay to find the correct item, however when it arrived and the mechanic tried to fit it, it’s nothing like the right part, but at least I have the right part number which is 5KO 953 569C.
i have looked on eBay and there are parts on there where the numbers match but the last digit C in my case is different. There are AS, BC, etc etc.
Does anyone know if these are compatible without a lot of messing about, or alternatively anywhere I can get the 5KO 953 569C at a sensible price?
