  1. I hope its not a threat for our best interests. Ok best to end it here I say. I don't want other viewers to see the negativity of this thread towards the tone of online bullying which is a serious crime as well my husband just told me. http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/mar/26/cyber-bullies-tougher-penalties-internet-troll
  2. I take threats seriously, i await his reply on what he meant making someone online life miserable.
  3. To avoid any more trouble and future conflicts i suggest we end here. Thank you,
  4. Hmmm everyone gone quiet all of a sudden. I wonder why.
  5. Are you implying to threaten my online activity? Hack into my online bank account and take my money? Hack my other online accounts? Increase hatred and discredit me online on the internet. Yes you mods are clever with your computer knowledge but if anything happens i will get my husband involved who knows someone who works in the NCA cyber crime dept. Go ahead
  6. Please I do not want this thread to turn into a debate lol. I ask questions I get answers thank you however few answers on this thread conflict with other answers here so I keep asking questions till its clarified crystal clear to the end. Also your responses have been negative and I do not want negative responses on my thread. You have the right not to answer my questions no ones forcing you to answer them anyway but if you answer in a negative way don't bother reaching for your keyboard. If this thread is violating forum rules that is using vulgar swear words, bullying, discrimination etc. then the mods are obliged to deal with this thread and the members accordingly. That is all.
  7. Ok as long it stays in the engine and doesn't leak anywhere passing the oil seals damaging other components then I'm kosher with that. Or I am expecting an inevitable doom of clutch, unsealed oil seals and catalytic converter failures soon this year or the year after that for a slight excess overfill last year? So far no one in this thread reassured me apart from one or two people here that slight overfill is not to worry. If I vastly overfilled then I be less confident and be draining but just needed reassurance on slight overfill. You say yes or it will damage my car, all I can say is only time can tell on who is right then we see who stupid person really is lol.
  8. Ok what are the visual symptoms of engine oil overfill then generally speaking as I haven't noticed any problems with my car since started this thread last year. Or has a miracle bestowed on my car lol? There has to be some explanation. There's no smoke without fire they say.
  9. Yeah I am due for a service soon which will involve draining all the oil away anyway. I bought this oil which is different to the last year oil I used: http://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/oils-lubricants/helix-for-cars/helix-fully-synthetic/shell-helix-ultra-5w-40.html Should I bought the same 5w-30 instead? Will I notice a difference using 5w-40? But generally speaking lets say a driver overfilled their car with engine oil surely the visible symptoms will be visible smoke from exhaust and high temperature gauge on dashboard right?
  10. Update: My car has pass the MOT emissions last June and also when I am on the motorway driving for a couple of hours I do not see the temperature gauge go past the middle position plus I haven't notice anything wrong with the engine yet which means I do not need to worry about draining the excess oil right? The whole point of this thread is to ask questions to determined whether its worth going underneath the car to drain the excess oil. I used this engine oil last year: http://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/oils-lubricants/helix-for-cars/helix-fully-synthetic/shell-helix-ultra-ect-5w-30.html It is ok to mix the above oil with this oil?: http://www.shell.co.uk/motorist/oils-lubricants/helix-for-cars/helix-fully-synthetic/shell-helix-ultra-5w-40.html
  11. Without What do you mean by measuring blocks?
  12. Thank you moderators for trying to keep the online bullies away.
  13. Hi, My car alarm keep going off all the time. Its like its sensitive to even to a gush of wind or a leaf landing on it and it will go off. The alarm will go off and I can see the hazard lights flashing as well hearing the alarm sound then the sound will go away and I can just see the hazard lights. The problem goes away once I press my remote central locking key. Please advise.
  14. Ok I will use 34 PSI for the front and back and ignore the Skoda recommended guidelines.
  15. Update: When to a tyre place and the fitter changed the valve on the front passenger side. Hopefully that should sort out the problem. Now what pressures should I set the front and back? What is recommended pressures if the official skoda guidelines are crap? Shouldn't the back wheels have more pressure PSI than the front?
  16. Yes same gauge Yes same temperature I checked the tyres when cold (not driven) I have always used 29 PSI at the front as recommended by Skoda Ok so you use 34 PSI at the front, what do use at the back?
  17. I pumped my front tyres up 11 days ago to 29 PSI Today I measured the front tyres pressure and the driver side is 27 PSI however the passenger side is 23 PSI. Is this normal? If not what can we rule out from the below?: 1. Puncture 2. The valve is leaking 3. The tyre itself is leaking around the rim Thanks,
  18. Hi, My front tyres seem to lose pressure especially the front passenger side. My car has passed a MOT recently without any advisories at all 1st time. Why is my tyre losing pressure?
  19. I dont understand? I did listen to your advice which is go and see a specialist in which I did. Can we please not argue.
  20. Ok so there is a leak so will this work?: http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/engine-oils-fluids/air-conditioning-recharge-supplies/superseal-air-conditioning-leak-sealant-mrl-3
  21. Ye but I have no leak but somehow the AC gasses are mysteriously disappearing like magic and its normal to re-gas AC every 2 months for the Octavia 2. That's the summary of this thread so far as well as a lot of off topic argumentative posts (definition of a troll). For the new readers out with similar AC problems hoping this thread will guide you then I just feel sorry for you all as you be wasting your time here.
  22. Ok so its normal to re-gas every 2 months for the Octavia 2 model?
  23. Ok if theres no leak then where is the AC gasses mysteriously dissapearing to?
  24. Genuinely I went to the air con Genuinely I went to the air con specialist, you can even phone them to verify. It wasn't a intent to stir up, I do not like to waste my time on these forums winding peeps up. So you admitted I did the right thing by going to a air con specialist but haven't noticed that the so called air con specialist you wanted me to go to did something illegal. Now can peeps understand that I come on these forums for help instead of going to garages because I don't trust 99% of garages. If your reply is off topic and argumentative then please do not reply in my thread and this applies to everyone here.
