I have an 18 inch space saver wheel which i bought for a previous kodiaq but our replacement car has 19 inch rims. Will it be okay to use the 18 wheel? Do i need to buy a new 19" one?

A couple of years back the boot locking mechanism wouldnt allow the boot lid to close. Nothing I did would would allow the locating pins to go in to the lock mechanism as it was already closed. I had to resort to taking out the mechanisms to even get he boot to close. Where would I start to try and work out why this is not working properly? The mechanism allows the twindoor function to operate.

Ive just had to change the battery in our Superb as it died this morning. After the car starts up, the power steering and traction control lights have come on. Anyone know why?

At the start of last year i had an issue where i could not close the boot lid in hatch mode. The slots where the bars go in to where closed over and the hatch would not go down. As I had to go out, I resorted to removing the receivers where the hatch drops into and The boot closes. I just cant use the saloon option. Anyone know what may have caused the issue?

Its not specific to the drivers door. The MFD does shows door as open.

When i open the door the interior light does not come on. However, the lights work when the switches are toggled. Any ideas?

Ive tried a number of online sites to get tyres for my Fabia but they seem to be out of stock on quite a few. Are they hard to get? They are 205/45/16 W83.

No. No response at all. I have removed these so that i can at least secure the boot. will try to reinstall and see if they come back online.

Can't close the boot. The locks are closed so won't take the boot pins. It's open as a hatch Any ideas?

I took the front panel of my radio of to change the DAB aerial but the car was on and now its pinged up saying there is a problem with the airbag. Can anyone reset this for me with VCDS? Thanks, Conor

I have noticed recently that the interior light switch is not make a proper contact and I am having to tap it to get the lights to come on. Has anyone else experienced this?

I installed a JVC radio in our Fabia as I wanted a DAB radio. It worked for a while but now just does not come on. If I unplug it and connect again it works ok but will go again after a short time. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I want to change the current aerial to one that has the DAB antenna in it as i am having no end of issues with the screen mount and magmount aerials. Does anyone know what aerial I need to order and is it a case of taking down the headliner to swap the old for new?

Thanks Langers2k. Had thought about it but was a bit worried about having to get under the roof liner to get to the current one and also getting the wire to the HU.

My Superb has a RNS510 in it and I have never had an antenna that works for very long. I have tried the screen mount one which was installed at the same time the radio was but it was rubbish. Since then I have had three magmounts which work for a while but then start failing. Has anyone got a suggestion as to what i can use that will work? Thanks, Conor

My car is doing the exact same thing. It was going up then going straight down but at the same time it was noisy. Has stopped now so don't quite know what happened.

Yesterday morning I opened the driver side front window on my way to work and as i approached I went to close it but it started to make a lot of noise, go up so far and then go back down again. It did this a few times until eventually it went back up again. Any suggestions as to what is wrong? It's still doing it today.

I want to wire in my aftermarket JVC head unit to my Fabia as currently it has to be switched on and off manually. Anyone know how to wire it in?

I installed a JVC head unit in our Fabia and it worked ok for a couple of days. It had to be switched on and off independently from the car. My wife said yesterday that it had stopped working. Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

So we bought the replacement for our 12 year old Polo. 10k miles, very clean in and out. Got a great part ex on the Polo, much more than we expected. Looking forward to hopefully picking it up on Saturday,

Recently I have had a problem on my Superb with the number plate light pinging up a problem on the dash. I get a message to check the bulb. If i tap the boot lid it comes back on. I have checked that the bulb is secure but I still get the error. Could the problem be with the bulb holder rather than the bulb?
