  1. Your a star TP. Thank you muchly.
  2. TP....is that last measurement with the back seat pushed fully forwards. Hope I am not being silly, it is that I have a large plastic moulded dog box and it is 86 cms deep. Also I need 69cms height. Thank you in advance.
  3. Thanks TP, much appreciated.
  4. Would somebody be kind enough to measure the width of the boot between the wheel arches and the depth (from the back of the seats to the rear of the car) Thank you.
  5. Lovely photos and health to enjoy.
  6. I bought a pre reg estate from Mervyn Stewart and was wondering how John Mulholland would treat me for servicing and warranty as the car was not bought from them. It would save me a lot of time and hassle as they are a lot closer for me to reach as I live on the north coast. Any replies appreciated, even from Mulhollands themselves. Thanks.
  7. Try this http://www.briskoda.net/forums/new-octavia/leak-passenger-front-door/63397/
  8. I have read your posts but you do not seem totally happy with the results. I will wait until my first service and tell them about it then as the car will still be under warranty. Is all your doors creaking? I tried the silicone type spray and the only one that seems to creak is the one they were working at and the back one. Was your car one of the models with the chassis number that someone posted and did you write to customer services. Thanks in advance.
  9. Leak is now fixed. Apparently the wax inside the door was blocking the drain hole and therefore the water could not get away. The only problem now is there is a rattle in the same door and a lot of creaking from the others. Other than this I am happy.
  10. Cheers for that Tezza, i now understand and hopefully the dealer will look at this and get it sorted. I will let you know how i get on but the car is not in the deasler until next Wednesday. Once again, thanks.
  11. I do not intend doing it myself as the car is booked in for next week but hopefully I may be able to give them some pointers as they said it was uncommon with them. Tezza what panel are you talking about and a pic would be helpful. I will have a look at the drain slot on the underside as suggested. Thanks a lot guys for your help. I love the car in every other way but this has really annoyed me.
  12. When it has been raining heavy the door sill is full of water whenever I open it. The water mark is half way up the rubber seal. When I drive the car it makes its way over the inner sill and onto the carpet. Also along the bottom of the door trim on the inside is also wet. Any ideas and any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Has been to the dealers once and had the door adjusted but made no difference whatsoever. It is an Octavia 2 classic estate that I have owned for a month. I await your replies, thanks.
  13. Recently bought an Estate 1.9tdi 105 ps Classic. Getting 54 MPG driving sensibly.
  14. Just purchased a pre reg Octavia TDI from Mervyn Stewarts. Salesman was spot on and I was more than happy with deal. Tried John Mulholland who is closer but was treated like an idiot and wanted to empty my pocket of a further £3000. I will report further on as time goes by and I need a service.
  15. Thanks a lot guys, the links were perfect. Just the window deflectors to find now. Cheers, Ricky.
  16. I am picking up my pre reg Octy estate 1.9 Classic this week. Can't wait, I have ordered the window deflectors and boot mat. Anybody on the site have any pics of them fitted. Also would like pics of the dog guard. i have looked the accessories on Skodas site but pics are not too clear. Thanks in advance.
  17. It is a Classic but I will know better tomorrow when I ask more questions of the dealer. Thanks anyhow.
  18. I am currently deciding to purchase a TDI Octavia estate. It is pre registered with 0 miles but has a sunroof but no air con. It was registered in June this year. Is it an older model or can someone help me on the subject. Dealer says that is the way it came. Any help appreciated.
