After so many ****-ups and poor customer service at a local dealership I am wondering whom to contact to finally get some result? Already spoke to sales manager of the dealership, is there anyone else higher up? Skoda UK customer service?

I had my car built one month after ordering, another month for delivery (including over 3 week wait at the UK port) so I should assume the timing of your car should be similar. All depends on any extra spec you have chosen and whether your dealer is on the ball.

I asked my local dealer whether I could have the back windows tinted with them but they said no. So got some quotes for around £190. It seems a bit much?

So how different is the Amundsen system compared to the Bolero? Is it just the built in sat nav or something more? Would it be possible to have the new one fitted in the place of Bolero (and pay for it)? I'm wondering whether it's all worth it...

Just picked up my brand new FABIA SEL and although I really really like it, I found it a bit bright inside. Would therefore be looking at tinting the back windows. Any advice? I didn't pick the option when buying the car, didn't think we would need it but after our Monte, we got used to it so want to get it done on the new car. How much is a good price? And what sort of 'shade' should the tint be?

I keep getting the oil icon flash up every couple of months on my Monte and need to top up. Any suggestions for the oil? Can't remember for the life of me whether it was 5W30 or 5W40 I put in the last time...

Is it true that there's a sd card slot in the glove compartment? If so... Is it full sized sd or mini one?

That's great news Prog! So did you get the black dashboard insert for £50 even though you didn't order it? Or was it something completely different entirely? I've ordered the black dashboard and now you made me worried that's tacky...

River27... I have ordered my car on the 15/3/15 and had a build date on the 23rd. But my dealer did ask me whether I wanted frequent updates or just before the car is ready to collect.

My price wasn't that much different to the ones you have quoted so happy days!

Yeti_Man I guess the price fluctuates with them as I just checked again and now it's £15,202 (forgot to mention decorative inserts for £50). I was more than happy with the price my local dealer offered (including part ex my Monte 2011).

They quote £15,248 for our FABIA SE L 110 TSI with DSG and metallic grey paint. It's a good price but I must admit we got a bit better from our local dealer

Hi everyone! So I've ordered my new Skoda Fabia SE L 110 TSI with DSG which is scheduled to be built on the 13th of April. Never actually driven an automatic car before. My current car is a red Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo. SO Any tips you can have on switching from manual to DSG will be most helpful!
