Hi guys I've seen remapped ecu's for sale via ebay for the mk1 octy or 1.8t engines as long as your engine code matches What are your thoughts? They're asking £100 for a plug & play ecu, get £40 discount if you send them your old one.

Hi guys, I've tried searching the forum but can't really answer my question. I want to lower my elegance estate as it's way too soft! What options do I have? Does the standard vrs octavia (non estate) suspension fit? I've heard as it's an estate you have to bear in mind the weight ect. Thanks in advance! You'll be helping a very confused bloke out

Hi guys. My engine is 1.8t AUM (150bhp). I started her up the other day and it was smoking straight away and wouldn't go away. Turned the engine off and back on a few times eventually it stopped. Changed the oil & spark plugs today (two were loose) started her up again & straight away it started to smoke! What I can tell is it's blue smoke. Smelly! Looked unto the car, and noticed the black s shape pipe ( rubber pipe with coupling type) it was caked in oil. Pulled the pipe off the throttle body & there was oil in there too. Could this be my issue? U cleaned it out of the throttle body as much as I could without removing anything, started her up & smoked so I turned on/off again & it was fine Scratching my head here guys any ideas?

The reason I'm asking about relocating is because I've removed the n249 valve. I've attached it to the nipple on top of te throttle body. Is this ok? & I simply bought the aftermarket dv purely for the noise -
Sorry guys I put this up last night obviously didn't work! I had a quick once over the car today and found 6 boost leaks altogether! What an absolute nightmare. But managed to take the "n" valves off and bung all the pipes ect & seems to of got better. The brake vacuum pipe was split beyond repair! Had to buy new piping for that. Because I've removed the "n" valves & no put resistors in the plugs, would it do any damage? I know the dash light will come on but other than that? Thanks!

Hi guys Fitted a forge diverted valve today, but I'm unsure which way round it needs to be! Any ideas please? & also, is it ok to relocate the little vacuum pipe onto the throttle body ( i have removed the "n" valves) Thanks!

Hi guys My name is mike and I'm from Leicester! I'm wa on the seat ibiza forum after owning a mk4 pd130 for two years I've now made the leap to an estate octy 1.8t (150bhp) AUM engine. Iv already had a quick browse on the forum and look forward to getting stuck in Speak to you all soon I hope!
