  1. Good to hear about this. In my case, on the first visit, they said the mechanic found a leak on one of the plastic piece on the windshield and managed to fix it but I didn't notice any difference.
  2. Please let us know if they find something. I'll try to contact Metroauto again after the summer holiday break and see if they can do something (else) about it.
  3. Have you got any reply from your dealer regarding this yet? I may kind of accept the fact that I'll have to live with it.
  4. How can you fold the mirrors when driving? I think the car doesn't let you do that.
  5. I also tried to cover all the gaps on the driver door with tapes but the wind noise doesn't seem to go away. It's truly difficult to pinpoint the exact problem.
  6. It seems quite a common issue. At least I noticed the same thing when test driving a demo car. It's a bit surprising to me that not many people here complaint about this. What dealer in Finland did you bring the car to? Mine is Metroauto and I doubt that they're gonna find the root cause.
  7. Ok so I took the car to the dealer last week and left it there for the whole day. Unfortunately it was a raining and not windy day so it was a bit difficult to test for wind noise. At the end of the day, they told me that the mechanic found a small gap (about a couple of millimeters) in one of the plastic piece on the windshield. They fixed it and hoped the wind go away. However, it doesn't. The wind noise is still there.
  8. I would say YES if you can. Yesterday, while reversing in the parking place, the rear parking sensors on my car, for some reason, activated more slowly than usual. And the end result is a bang into the corner of the wall. It's gonna cost me a few hundreds bugs :(
  9. Those pictures are really worth a thousand words! Thanks a lot! I'll print the discussion in this thread out and send it to my dealer, hopefully they can do something about my car. The bad thing is for my car, it seems like the wind noise appears on every door. And that means something more serious. I have a feeling that the doors are a lot more light weight (when closing them with force) than those in my previous Mk II and afraid that Skoda has done some excessive weight cut, which may result in worse insulation.
  10. Brought the car to dealer yesterday and the mechanics confirmed the noise after a test drive. As he drove the car, I was sitting in different seats and noticed the similar noise coming from all the doors. Still need to wait for a more thorough check next week but I doubt they'll find a solution since it seems like a systematic issue. Bad :(
  11. Any update on this guys? I'm planning to bring my car to dealer next month but wanna hear some good news from you.
  12. Sorry what do you mean? Are you able to put the S7 into the phone box? S8 is longer and it doesn't fit.
  13. Does anyone have any luck with using the wireless charging in the phone box of Mk III for a long phone like Samsung Galaxy S8? It's a shame that such a phone makes the wireless charging useless.
  14. Yes, it's 150 TDI estate. It's very annoying having the foot on the pedal. I think that's the only significant vibration I've noticed so far and not sure if it is common in diesel cars. My car is 1 month old.
  15. Mine doesn't have such kind of rattle but it has instead some rattle/vibration on the accelerator pedal. This is quite noticeable on cold start and high speed. Does anyone have the same issue?
