    Further to the above: my dealer rang and offered to check connections of horns f.o.c. (which I think is very good of them.) Apparently it IS probably possible to loosen the bolts and tilt the bumper assembly and they will do that this week. I'll let you all know how it turns out. TW

    I had a pheasant smash the black radiator grille (at 60 mph!) and had to have the whole front bumper replaced, a four day job with the spraying. Anyway, one of the horns now doesn't sound. The horns are fitted to the car body, not the bumper assembly. To investigate, the bumper assembly will need at least to be loosened and pulled forward a bit to check the horns' wiring is right. Has anyone done this and can advise, please; i.e. can you reach the horn connectors in this way to check?
