  1. I picked up my Race Blue Petrol vRS today ordered at the end of march so 9 months wait , it was worth the wait so far , nice chunk cash back from dealer as well ( equity from previous vRS ) happy days
  2. Vrs ordered march 21 has now left the factory . Not sure how long its going to take to get to the dealers but first bit positive news ive had since i ordered the car .
  3. Build date cancelled last week removed from skoda system , dealer will upate me end of july , starting to run outta patience
  4. Vrs ordered 29th march 21, been given a build date of week 33 ( 3rd week in august ) . What are the chances of car being built earlier
  5. Picked up car from dealer and antenna all sorted so back to how it should have been when i first got it .
  6. Took car in for dealer to have a look today and they think its the antenna need to get it booked in so they can replace it . you would think that would be something that would be easy to establish before i collected the car wether the sat nav worked or not .
  7. Sd card is in the slot closest to the passenger door is that correct? Never thought about the aerial will investigate tomorrow. Warrior 193 thank you for your help.
  8. Returned to the fold after a couple ofyears originally i had a Mk 1 Octy VRs and was heart broken when i had to sell it , so recently found myself able to revisit VRs heaven . I picked up my 11month old Mk3 Octavia VRs 3 days ago and Im loving it bit different from the mk1 but enjoying the new car all the same . Looking forward to few years of fun driving .
  9. I picked up my new used skoda Octavia VRs ( 11months old and 4000miles ) on Friday from skoda dealer and Ive a problem with the sat nav it cant seem to get a satellite connection , in the maxi dot display it says "No position data " . Anyone out there any ideas Ive put a call into dealer service department and they are calling me back tomorrow , but until then Im hoping its just a minor issue with maybe software , as otherwise im loving the car . I had a 10 year old mark 1 Octy Vrs a few years ago and i loved the car was heart broken when i had to sell so decided to indulge myself and get a nearly new mk 3 and so far so good . Thanks for any suggestions i have had a search throught he rest of the forum but cant seem to find anything specific to try
  10. I am selling my beloved Skoda Octavia vRS Mk1 . 2003 1.8T petrol engine 108,000 miles MOT till dec 16 Very good service history this car has been well looked after over the years and has loads of life left in her . A new company car has forced me to sell, ive had the car for a year and enjoyed every minute of it the car is lovely to drive and still moves rapidly . I had front bearings replaced at last service and replaced the flexy connection at the exhaust . There are two small rust bubbles at the bottom of both door pillars and have been quoted £75 to repair . Other than the that the bodywork is immaculate , as is the inside of the car, leather is all good but the cloth part of the seats do show marks . All tyres have plenty left on them Im looking for £1200 for the car and im based in Glasgow . CAR NOW SOLD
  11. Had a new stainless steel flexy pipe fitted to exhaust, as the original had sheared . I was quoted £400 for new catalytic convertor at kwik fit but found a custom exhaust builder who cut out and replaced flexy pipe for £140 . An engine mangt light has come on, could this be due to work done and it just needs reset or should i expect another issue . The car is running well and doesnt seem to have any issues, what do you guys think .
  12. Conor305 that sounds like my kind of fix could u post link to original thread i need a bit more guidance . Did you remove any bits to allow you to prise off top of door card Roughly where is the window regulator viewed from inside the car Are you thumping top of regulator with piece of wood or the face of the regulator
  13. Thanks for the advice guys am going to give this a bash at the weekend had the car serviced yesterday and they replaced a thermo sensor so its running like a dream just a pity the wife needs to get in the back makes me feel more like a taxi driver than normal
