Sorry I don't James. After I washed you could feel it and microfibre cloth dragged over the fall out on the windows. On the paint work Moon white the fall out was easy to see as rust forming on the particles and you could feel it , just the same on the Seat.

Get yourself a clay bar off ebay, look up on youtube how to clay your car and test an area. My brand new Sportline estate was covered in fallout ( from the train ) on the unprotected surfaces including all windows. Clayed all the areas with fall out and then protected the whole car with a really good wax. You may be surprised with the results you can achieve. My car was reasonably prepared by the dealer but I spent a further full day to detail the car. BTW; My wife's new Seat was just as bad so the same process was performed. Dealers just don't have the time these days.

I had this on mine from new ,only picked it up in September. Resolved this week with a software reload under warranty.

Picked up my Sportline Plus 150 tdi on Monday and very pleased with the whole car. Driving in a mixture of S and D with use of the paddles also. D is very comfortable and S as you imagine is a bit more spirited. Gear changes are seamless on the way up and down. Suspension is a major improvement on my Octavia and boy do I need that on the roads around here.

At last some good news on my order. The car has been built and is on it's way via Emden and Grimsby. Hopefully it should be with me in a couple of weeks. Already received my SuperSkoda delivery of mats, cargo floor mat , tunnel cover and mud flaps. Getting excited.

Update from the dealer yesterday. Confirmed my order will be for a MY19 and a Sportline Plus, build week 31 although he said they may build slightly before ? Only differenced on the MY 19 are (Supernova wheels on the Plus) and a change to the keyless entry that lets you personalise each key the remember settings for your seat and driver modes. Digital Dashboard display is a £450 option too which I didn't go for. Looks like it will arrive early September. Overall I'm quite happy with the deal as I'm now getting a better car at the price I agreed in March and another three months in my Octavia with no reduction in trade in price.

Mixed feelings today. I placed an order in late March ( before the spec was changed for the Sportline) for a Sportline 150 DSG Estate with Heated windscreen , Heated front seats, Heated washer nozzles, Front parking sensors, Temporary spare wheel and Canton. I was pleased with the price and the deal was what I'd wanted. Everything was going well until a few errors on the order were spotted. eg Heated windscreen was missing ! Contact was made in email with the dealer and they promised that the order would be changed and everything would be fine. Last week was build week and conformation build spec screen shot was sent to me with guess what? MISSING Heated windscreen !! Another email from the dealer assured me that option 9T1 was Heated windscreen and heated nozzles but research on this forum helped me workout that PKV was the correct code for a Heated windscreen and 9T1 was just Heated nozzles. I sent another email which resulted in an offer to order an new car as mine had been built to the wrong spec. This time the offer was to order a new Sportline Plus with all the options I requested some of which are now standard and some which are extra on the Plus model. As far as I can see the Plus additions over the old Sportline are: Heated front seats, Blind Spot Detection and Electric boot opening ( Not sure if the Plus comes with Premium WLAN as standard) The deal is still the same price although the dealer assures me I'm getting an additional discount . So build week will now be week 25-26 and then delivery which would would be another 4 weeks, so it looks like August delivery. As I said at the start mixed feelings. Frustrated about the dealer cocking up in ordering. Pleased I'm getting a Sportline Plus if I accept the deal. Happy they have not reduced my part ex price although the car will have more miles and three months older. Having to wait another three months.......... What are your thoughts ?

Question. Does the estate come with some sort of trunk cover? There are two options available, sliding trunk cover and retractable parcel shelf. Does it mean I have to order one of the options or is there a standard one?

I'm in the thinking about replacing my Octavia estate with a Superb estate Sportline 150. At present the only extras I have specified are: Heated windscreen Heated Front seats Heated Washer nozzles Have I missed any obvious must have extra for the Sprotline ? As always I'm looking for the best price / deal and carwow are coming up withe some good PCP deals. Anyone got a great deal lately ? Andy

I had the same problems with my Bridgestones towards the end of life on my Black edition Estate. Ended up fitting Uniroyal Rainsport 3 which are coping fine with my driving and far better at handling the pot holes and poor surface of the roads around Cheshire / Manchester.

I have always serviced my cars and this one is the first I bought new so had to have it dealer serviced to keep the warranty. First service at my local Skoda dealer £149 Three weeks later, the under tray fell off....... Needless to say the car went back for full inspection including sump plug and fully documented in case the sump plug fell out.

Well I took the plunge and ordered the box and fitted it on Wednesday. Ordering process was great after chatting to Andy at DTUK to ensure the correct box for my car. My only slight concern was that there was not more information about what the programs actually achieve and it would be down to trial of each program to find best results. Really simple to fit, 10 mins and set it to program 1. The car had a immediate increase in torque and power and economy was a better too. The following day I switched to program 2 which felt less power and torque. I'm on program 3 at the moment which is close to program 1. It's off for a very expensive oil service on Tuesday so I will remove everything and be able to compare. Overall I'm very happy with the performance increase and would recommend it for the 1.6 engine with DSG.

Hi I'm thinking of installing a DTUK Tuning box to my 2015 1.6 DSG Black Edition Estate. There are a couple of options 125 or 135 PS and also a Max Response Pedal Box. Does anyone have these fitted to their cars, if so are you happy with the results ? Andy

I couldn't lock the car not even a flash from the red led on the fob, when I got to work last Saturday night ! Had an anxious 12 hour shift hoping my car would be there in the morning. April 2015 Black edition Estate, so lasted 8 months too. Spare key works and new battery on the way. Andy
