  1. What about putting the 1.3 or 1.6 on the 1.9? I currently don't have 5th gear in my 1.9
  2. sorry ricardo after finally removing my sump and replacing it tip for any one else is to get the gasket off the ump side 1st then take the pump off the bottom to release the gasket and refitting a new 1 and as the 1.9D skoda felicia sump is so exspensive £100+ the golf 1.9 is adaptable with the same strainer but the oil usage is less i have 4L of oil in roughly now instead of 4.8L
  3. That's brilliant Richard I managed to remove it in the end it was the gasket stuck to the sump holding it to the bottom end once I removed the sump I had to remove the oil pump to get the gasket off I did take pictures but can't upload them along with the big hole in my sump
  4. Hi guys I've hit the same issue but can't work out which bolts you are on about so you have any pictures?
  5. Thank you so much o had issues with my fuel gauge and after reading this it's now fixed however I need to fix my temperature gauge now :L

I had this issue also I checked all the fuses and thought it was my relay I tried a second relay and still nothing it was my switch it had come loose and worked its way off the back luckily a relatively easy fix although steering wheel and dash had to be removed and now my clock has stopped working! Whe will it end?
  8. This is the other side done all that's left is plumbing in the brake lines and the bleed the system and I'll be done callipers have been rebuilt and painted
  9. Yeah from a 51 plate polo just refurbish the callipers atm needed a new dust cover
  10. And I'm putting in a new bed and rear brace which is missing in this pic
  11. Yeah i have all the parts but as I removed the fuel pipes the there's a hole where it's rusted through :( any one know any replacements that fit that i can cut out of another car? Or a link from a previous fix? I'll take s picture in a sec

  13. evening guys I'm looking at doing a rear disc conversation to my felicia van I've found a donor car its a golf looks like it could be a straight swap but ill look tomorrow and take pictures of the donor car
