  1. To be fair I haven't had to use my full beam yet; but otherwise they are fine, as my H7s are sufficient. however, the full beam blue light remains on when using drls during the day, which is not sitting kindly with my ocd lol. I think i will prob chop and change to see what works best for me. On the plus side, I now have a range of spare bulbs to use!!
  2. yeah i thought i did have them snuggly fitted, but when i went to replace them they were a bit loose. They are reportedly cree leds, and i tried to once again to lock them firmly into place, but they still seem a bit loose. they have been replaced now with the same as you have replaced yours with, but i admit they still look a bit yellow lol
  3. I also have to point out that vehicle electrics are not my strongest suit
  4. Hadn't considered that, but as the blooming high beam light has now reappeared, I may well do! thanks btw
  5. They wanted £75 from me....they didn't get it obviously
  6. I don't know why I post prematurely on this blinking site! I returned to the motor after half an hour only to find that the high beam indicator light was no longer lit. however, I have lost the ability to 'flash' when only using DRLs during the day (hmmmm? a draw back of using a dual purpose buld methinks)
  7. Well i fitted Cree 80W leds (H15) to replace the OE dual filament halogen bulb. However, as pretty as it looks, the blue high beam light is constantly lit on my dash whenever the DRLs are on. Not an issue when the dipped (H7) bulbs are activated (and the DRLs automatically switch off anyway), but it maybe something I cannot live with! I was aware before fitment that there could be potential issues (hence having some white (-ish) H15s on standby), but if there was another method (decoders?) or add-ons I could use to make this work perfectly, then please feel free to share your knowledge.......Chris?
  8. got some xenon effect h8's; just eliminating the yellow peril. Ive already changed the h7's to xenon effect and the w5w's to led. Am awaiting cree 80w leds to replace the h15's, but ive got some xenon effect h15's as backup in case of resistance problems. will post pics of course!
  9. Trying to upgrade my fogs but am unsure how to gain access?
  10. Excuse my ignorance...but superskoda offer these replacement 'position' lights; what are 'position' lights???? Are they drls, sidelights, dipped beams???? What bulb do they replace? The H7 or H15 or what?
  11. I was hoodwinked by the nice seats, dash, DAB, led drls etc. It is a nice car, and all the reviews cant be wrong; but i really do prefer my SB
  12. Thanks Tom, I agree; just couldn't see the wood for the trees lol, blindsided
  13. BTW You may get bum steered into different foot packs and fitting kits. the ones listed above ARE the correct ones (spoke directly with Thules)
  14. Thules black wing bars and fitting stuff details below; 754 foot pack 1754 fitting kit 969B wing bars black price: hefty Look: nice
  15. Sorry, i've been preoccupied recently so missed this! Thules bars and foot pack do fit the panoramic roof; absolutely no issues as the rubber feet do not touch the glass at all. I've carried a fair bit of weight on them too. BTW they are not for sale now, as I'm keeping my SB
  16. Just couldn't do it. I test drove the Monte Carlo fabia, nice as it was, it just didn't do it for me. I've formed a bit of a bond with my Spaceback, customised it, got it to just how I want it. So therefore no deal
  17. Change of plan!! The spaceback is going nowhere. Cancelling the order; deposit up the swanney :( mind you how stupid was I to chose a car by selecting a colour and model from a thumbnail pic in a glossy brochure. Lesson learned. Consoled myself by visiting Superskoda
  18. This car ain't going nowhere! Cancelled the fabia Monte Carlo, loss of deposit is just a lesson learned; mind you selecting a colour based upon a thumbnail pic in a glossy brochure was just plain stupid. How did I console myself.....superskoda
