  1. Had clutch replaced, 2 months ago, but now missing 1, 3 and 5 gears, technical fault code 01859 & 01855 coming up. Anybody got any ideas what this could be.URGENT SORRY CODES SHOULD READ. 01850 & 01855 NOT 01859
  2. Oh and one other thing, no faults are coming up on diagnostics, strange!
  3. Not sure what you mean by relearn. Clicked your link: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/7-Speed_Direct_Shift_Gearbox_(DSG/0AM) and it says, This should be obvious but the procedures on this page do NOT apply to transmissions other than 0AM. For example, longitudinal 7 speed DSG's like the 0B5 used in the B8 S4 use a different procedure. Mine is a 7 speed DSG's. I do not know if you have heard of them but I took it to http://www.bristolgearboxcentre.com/#!dsg-7-speed-dry-clutch/x6c6q who seem very professional. Thanks again
  4. Thanks sorry IDanl, sorry for late reply. Went to Bristol and got a new clutch put in but now 4 weeks later playing up again, this time moves of then acts like it is in neutral. This only happens after standing still parked for a while, not whilst I am driving. Going to get diagnostics done again to see what codes will come up this time.
  5. Hi, Sometimes when put into drive, the dsg gearbox acts like it is still in neutral. Got a local garage, who I trust(not Skoda dealer) to check the fault codes on it and it only comes up with fault code: 06012 (24, f1, 17,7c) Please refer to relevant technical manual. Tried finding fault code online without any success. Anyone got any ideas, what it could be and/or fault code links:
  6. GoneOffSKi, I think that in the service book it mentions the oil in gearbox being changed as I believe they put the wrong oil in at the manufacturers. What basically happens and it is only recently, when you put it into drive after sitting still for awhile or cold, it acts as it is in neutral. If you then go through the selector and back to drive it is ok. James@RRGRochdale, not sure what the swarfs are but will ask the garage, when I get it put on diagnostics. Thank yopu both.
  7. Hi, anyone know about the 7 speed dsg gear box. Are there sensors on this gearbox that get worn and makes it think that it is still in neutral?
  8. Hi Everyone, I have had my 2011 Octavia with dsg 7 speed box for a year, now on 85000 miles and have had it regularly serviced. However the car is now slipping in 1st gear and was trying to find out what the problem might be. I was told by a guy called John from Skoda's main office sometime back that you do not have to renew/change gearbox oil, as it is for life. Which I find a bit strange. Also I think there was a recall at some point for gearbox back in 2013. Can anyone help and advise me? Thanks. Larry
  9. I purchased back in January, in Manchester from a Toyota dealer that had a Skoda sister branch, a 2011, 1.6 diesel dsg/automatic, diesel for £9500, with only 43500 miles on clock and it had been serviced at 38000 miles. At the time I thought I was paying over the odds but now I think I did o.k
