  1. I drive a 2.0 TDi. only reporting what I have experienced.
  2. I have one fitted for about 1 year. Immediately noticed the increase in performance (approx. 15%) and increase in mpg (however it is a company car and I don't pay for fuel) Regarding the cleaning, it can be done overnight after looking at the YouTube video to get it right. Overall, the car has become a lot better to drive, smoother and punchier. hope this helps.
  3. I found this also, however, I found what the issue is........... The car has to have the ignition lights on, or engine running, with the stereo on. then connect whatever device you are using to the usb lead. hope this helps
  4. Had exactly this problem with my 2.0l Ambition. took it to my local dealer who informed me there was a software upgrade required to rectify the fault. all good since
  5. In Ireland for the MkIII I believe the standard is Xenon with LEDs for the style.
  6. Notice this happens if you have more than one phone paired? the car shows what is in the memory of the head unit as well as what is in the phone memory. I've learned to live with it.
  7. Hi all, Have been driving a 2.0 150 combi ambition spec for the last couple of months and have noticed intermittent hesitation especially in 3rd gear around 60kph. local dealer has replaced the fuel filter, however this doesn't seem to have cured the problem. anyone else experiencing the same or any suggestions? thanks in advance.
  8. had mine fore 25k (km) and I cant fault them. would choose these over any others.
  9. I had this fault, however, it showed itself on the way home from collecting the car from new!! dealer said it was crap in the fuel line as it seemed to re-set itself after switching off then on again. after several repititions of the problem, I took the car back to the dealer and said I wanted my money back as the car was not fit for purpose. needless to say, they fixed the issue and fitted the car with a load of additional merchandise (boot mat, mud flaps, first aid kit etc) still a pain to go through though.
  10. Hi! I have been running Cross Climates on my 1.6tdi for the past few months and have found them to be excellent, especially in the wet, as I did an unconventional comparison with my work colleague who is running on Goodyear Efficient grips. he has the same car as me as they are fleet purchased and driving side by side at 40mph the Crossclimates stopped me 6' sooner than the Goodyear. I also notice the increased spray on wet surfaces, obviously as the tyres clear more water. Finally, they are much quieter that the Bridgestone Turanzos that they replaced. overall, I'd give them 10/10. but lets wait to see if they are as good in the snow!
