  1. I have just bought a 54 plate Corsa CDTI in Millenium Motors in Nottingham. Alloys had very light scuffs on so I knocked them down a fair few hundred and they ended up replacing them anyway. Car had 8100 miles on and is imaculate, I understand it was ex company car but that doesn't worry me as it still have manafactures warranty on. Anyway very happy with it. It's not all bad, but just go through the car carefully before commiting. I insisted on taking the car for a test drive. Ivan
  2. Also remember the CDTI lump is 16v and the fabia is 8v so the fabia will feel more grunty at low revs, the Astra will come into it's own at higher RPM.
  3. Was just going to use it to get to work for 6 momths and then sell on hopefully for the price I paid and all the work I will do on it. Didn't want to mod it as I am buying a new car after it goes for something a little smaller that can be used to teach people to drive.
  4. Cool. May call you at some point..
  5. Cheers big guy may well do You any good at track rod ends ? To be fair it's not in bad nick and 100k on a diesel is nothing.
  6. Friend has a Volkswagen Passat Saloon on a V plate I think it is the 1.9 S TDI (90ps) 4d. Now I need a cheap but reliable run about to get me to work for the next 6 months. He is looking at around
  7. I have been recieving spam email for a while now form [email protected] which when I looked through the mail header was actually been sent from this ip address 151.44.139.145. Is there a way I can report this to the origin ISP as I don't know how to ? Thanks Ivan
  8. Goochie try this company http://www.popcorn-uk.com there is a section for Television then Stands and Mounts, they are very reasonable. BTW I have my flatscreen mounted on the wall with raw bolts you can buy from B&Q, they are 12cm long and I have 4 of then planted in the wall, I was hanging of them before I mounted the screen and they didn't budge.
  9. Yer most people on here must be loaded as they do have their own private road...... Might of been an FR, whatever it is it was nice looking..
  10. Is it out yet as I see the new shape one with the Cupra R badges the other day, twin tail pipes, it looked rather tastey, shame you can only do 70mph on her majestys highways though in it
  11. Raid means data is written to each drive in turn but being raid you will only see the drives as one letter, bit of a bugger if one drives goes down unless you have a raid controller with parity information. Raid is quicker writing and reading from IIRC though.
  12. I need some help on ripping a DVD. I just want to rip the main movie and a specific language that goes with the movie and then reburn it onto a disk. Before anyone kicks off about copyright this is a free dvd given to me with multiple languages on that I need only the main movie and one audio track off it. So all I want to do is to pop the DVD into my player and the film will start with the main movie straight away without any menus and also play in english. I have DVD decrypter, DVD shrink and Nero is there anytihng other software I require ? Thanks
