Light came on again at 8400, so just when expected
-
The 4 L bottle was easy to handle, I did not screw it in, maybe thats why there was a tiny bit of spillage.
-
IIRC between 5000 & 5300
-
Mine is the 110ps
-
Mine is a very earlier MY16 and does not have Adblue mentioned anywhere in the Maxidot options.
-
Mine is using about 1L of Adblue per 750 miles. 4L should give about 3000 miles, so if the car does know how much is in the tank, it should start warning me again around 8000-8500 miles.
-
I only added 4 L to mine, the warning has gone off and I have another 4 L ready for next time it happens.
-
The kit was easy to use, the fill point is down in a lttle section of the boot on its own. The nozzle does not open until inserted and once removed I only notice a tiny amount of Adblue right down near the base of the tank tube and as there is a very tight rubber cap up in the boot floor I did not worry about this.
-
Yes I like their wording - the SCR system and AdBlue will become vital to meet the Euro 6 standards Ford have managed to get their cars to Euro 6 without Adblue.
-
The 1500 mile warning came on at about 5100 miles, it’s the 2.0 and has been averaging about 49-50 MPG. My son gets a good discount at Halfords nearly 50% off the list price of their 4 L Adblue kit. It comes with the correct nozzle and it unscrews so you could top the bottle up without cutting it.

Changing my UK 2015 Skoda Yeti software over to Australian
leaky5 replied to Yetiguy's topic in Skoda Yeti
I tried to to do mine last night, but I think the software I had was to old. It did not give me the drop down box for 'Australia' when I got to the relevant section, but popped up with an error. -
I think my problem was more of a size thing.
-
Lol, glad I did not borrow it today, he is just getting it towed back to the main dealer. Oil temp high and engine light on.
-
Does it do it all the time, have you refilled and it stays at the same position ? My one (less than 1000 miles) got stuck at about 3/4 full and after a fill up started working OK again.

He quite likes the Yeti, he is used to driving lots of different cars as he is a prototype engineer at Ford. He changes his own cars about every 9 months, so this time he has the ST, last time he had a Kuga. Mine is the MY16 2.0 Diesel SE Outdoor (I had ordered the 1.6 greenline, but it went out of production during the order)
