  1. I too have noticed a rattle from the boot lid area and also think it's coming from the gas-struts. My very un-technical temporary fix is to jamb two washing up scourer sponges into the recess down the bodywork recess, so it stops the gas struts from rattling when the boot lid is closed. This seems to have stopped the rattle. My Yeti is about 15 months old, so I'll be contacting the dealer to seek advice.....
  2. Has anyone purchased their Stainless Steel version? At first glance, whilst more expensive, this would seem to be more robust and less liable to scratching.
  3. Oops, yes reading it back, yes, but anyway, you get my drift.....
  4. The problem is that we assume the speedo and odometer is correct, but the speedo in all cars "under-reads" the speed (so you can't blame the manufacturer if you get caught for speeding). My speedo is about 5-6mph "under" when compared to my (windscreen mount) satnav. Also, it's dangerous to assume the display in the MFD is absolutely correct (as who knows what sensors and systems it uses to exactly measure both distance and fuel used) - though it is a good guide.
  5. If you bring it to the UK to sell, you are targeting a tiny market - those who may want to take it back to the continent. If you sell it in Denmark, you are selling it to anyone in Denmark that wants a Yeti.
  6. Road-test the Yeti 1.2 DSG. We were planning to purchase a 2.0 4x4 Diesel, but do low mileage and live in Surrey, so no real justification for a 4x4. "Her who must be obeyed" saw a new 1.2 DSG for the same price as a 2nd hand 4x4 and said she'd rather have the new one! I really can't believe how quick and responsive the 1.2 DSG is. so, my advice - buy the Yeti 1.2 DSG!
  7. Thanks weasley - I had looked in the manual and have now looked again. Can't find any bulb specifications but they DO tell me the exact overhang and ramp angles to the nearest tenth of a degree! Failing all else, I could either make an educated guess or take the covers off the front & rear light clusters to have a look.
  8. I needed to change a bulb on my daughters car and it got me thinking - ahead of a wine-run to Boulogne. We're supposed to carry a spare bulb kit, but I can't find anywhere that gives a list of what bulbs I'd need for my 2015 spec Yeti Outdoor Elegance. I realise it's pointless to carry the gas discharge tube headlights, but it would be sensible to carry some useful bulbs. So far, all I've worked out is that the indicators are the type with amber paint over them, not the plain glass type. Any ideas where I might find a full list? Thanks.....
