i have this problem myself with my 07 mk2 2.0 pd tdi dsg but it had a new turbo last year so wondering if it could be something else as well

Hi Guy's I Have a 2007 octavia PD TDI DSG Elegance (140) Now the car runs and drives sweet as a nut but now and then on a drive i lose power the engine is still running when i pull over once stopped if I put my foot on the accelerator the car goes again????? just wondering what can be the cause any help appreciated

Well i finally got the AC sorted had a local mobile mechanic and AC guy out he tested the system no leaks so started to fill with gas tested the system and found the pump wasn't working ( i thought it was stuffed) he had a look at the wiring and found the connector was loose and it fired up so I could breathe again LOL finished re gassing and all was fine but the AC had no gas at all in it to start with, so car is all good now

Just bought a 07 plate octavia 2.0tdi pd dsg and i hope im lucky because it has had a new turbo and clutch fitted along with the mechatronic gearbox is a charm just now but fingers crossed

got to admit i do like these even though im 53 and not a boy racer lol I do agree about the DRL's though

I also need some mats for my mk2 octavia ill get some for the golf mk5 now as a little cheaper

I have an opportunity to buy a 2007 Octavia 1.9 PD DSG having a look at it tomorrow never heard of this gearbox until now I was a little worried about the gearbox but reading the reviews and the comments on here i will be changing my superb 2004 auto and buying the Octavia PD DSG 2007 BIG thanks guys

i had this problem and i fitted a new neutral switch and it sorted it

Thanks guys yes thats what it was the breather hose so all sorted now thanks for your help, just waiting for the crash sensor now and get the airbag light off, tried one sensor but didnt work turns out it had been activated, but managed to get a brand new one from france for £50 shipped so not bad just hope it works. this superb is the best car ive had and just as good as the two jaguars i have owned

Ho guys just a question my skoda superb 3u4 1.9 tdi comfort 130bhp has the code coming up for the egr sorry cant remember the code just says emissions egr low flow, now my mechanic has just changed the bonnet catch as the light has been on for quite a while now that fault has gone this one is coming up for the egr but i have no power in the car at all like its in limp mode my question is will the egr valve need cleaning i hope or could it be something else the car had done 47k from new genuine milage sorry if i confuse anyone cheers

whay if the temp sensor isnt working properly cold that cause the problem??? i as because the temp sensor sometimes doesn't work i tried looking at the plug under the overflow and moved it about and the car did start even warm??? no i havent,, ill have to get my mechanic to have a look i think

tried the battery its not that or the starter motor!!!!! its like the fuel has gone back to the tank so thought it may be return valve
