I've just seen all my offers on CarWow and WhatCar withdrawn, and can't request quotes on new cars. One dealership I was in touch with said "Due to the factory lead times being extended because of the worldwide shortage of processing chips, We are going to remove our discount levels." Yikes. Getting a deal on a new one might be a bit more tricky now. My PCP runs out in February, at this point I'm tempted to finance the balloon payment then and wait for things to calm down a bit. Of course the residuals in my current vehicle are pretty strong due to 2nd hand market at the moment. So that's a factor too.

Hi all, current Superb Estate driver looking to switch vehicles in Feb so need to put an order in soon... Having been initially attracted to the Kodiaq, price considerations dropped me down to the Karoq. I wanted to have something with a bit of fun as well as being practical (3 and 8 year olds need ferrying around!), so the 2.0 DSG Sportline really appealed. However, now comparing prices, an Octavia vRS estate, with the pano sunroof as an extra, is more or less the same price. It has a bigger boot so probably wouldn't need a roof box either... Anyone else faced/facing the same decision?

I might spend the extra and get it in red. Had an octavia in red which was not my first choice but really liked it in the flesh...

Looking at the karoq sportsline, I was thinking of getting it in black but is that going to hide the more sporty aspects of the design?
