Hi all, First post here, but I did follow the mirrorlink topics here with great interest, as I'm also the "lucky" owner of a pre-w22 car (w20 ). First of all I can tell you that it's the exact same story here in Denmark. I have too been in contact with my dealer and Skoda DK about all the same things as you guys, and the lack of customer service is unbelievable!! Unfortunately all the frustrations have taken over the joy of getting a new car, which is really a shame, as the car it self is very nice! But I must say that the even though I really like the car, this is my last Skoda!! The lack of respect for the customers, and especially us early adopters have been taken to new heights by Skoda.. Simple Clever, I don't think so! And to offer a window mounted garmin satnav as compensation... What a f...... joke! Anyways, with that said here's my experience with Mirrorlink... After the long fight with Skoda, I finally gave up and bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact with Android 4.4 as on the list by Skoda. I was never able to get Sygic or any of the other Skoda-approved apps working while driving... Only a very few times it actually worked for a short while. I returned the phone and got the HTC One M8 instead to rule out a problem with the xperia, and bingo.. with the M8 it is working very nicely. And the phone came with Android 5, so apparently that's not a problem. For those who havn't tried it yet and would be interested in mirrorlink vs. audio (at least I was very curious about this) I can tell you that while using Mirrorlink I'm still able to listen to/change between radio and music from my SD card. So actually I must admit that it now finally works as written in the brochure, so at least that's something. That been said I would still have gone for the integrated Amundsen if I could have chosen this option.
