  5. I have the super skoda one (steel one) on my elegance estate i have black paint work and it sets the back end of very nicely, I do think though that dogs claws will still damage the paint though SNOB
  6. I have bought one and fitted it to my black estate elegance it looks the dogs you know what, it was a wise decision.
  7. Yes one of those exactly I shall take a photo when I can but it does look great againsst the black paint work. SNOB
  8. The car is quieter because I believe that Skoda has placed 27lb (14kg) extra sound proofing in the car since the mark 1 mark 2 superb if you follow. SNOB
  9. The number plate came from some one saying I could not be posh in a Skoda, hence I got a number plate that read (with illegal spacing) S55 5NOB, making the SNOB, unfortunately one our local police men decided to be upset over it and fined me £60 he should really look at some of the plates on London, that besides the Grill and rear bumper plate comes from Superskoda.com, I do not work for them nor get commission from them I just bought some stuff from them including a steering wheel insert with the Superb logo on it which looks awesome as well. I will take some more pics and post them when I get her washed and spruced up. But thanks for your comments any more are welcome. SNOB
  10. I took delivery of my new elegance 170 dsg estate in the metallic black, panoramic roof, sunset glass, ventilated seats etc, I have since changed the grill for a L&K chrome trimmed one set in the black and chrome it looks astonishing , I have also put a metallic rear bumper trim on to help protect the rear end form scratches as well, all in all they are two awesome bits of pimping lol. The car is so much quieter than previous 170 dsg saloon, cream leather suits it as well. SNOB Watch out on the road for it in suffolk All thoughts welcome
  11. Thanks for that but no, it was one where they took a new car and completely revamped it new suspension, up rated power, etc etc completely new interior leather dashboard etc etc real nice jobs.
  12. Not so long back some pics were posted from a foreign company who completely customised skodas all models does any one remember the company or website. SNOB
  13. Hello, As far as I am aware the back does not suffer it is very hard to actually tell where it is coming from although I agree it feels like he centre console. I have suggested the airlock thing but not had it checked out yet. The heating does not recover from the cold event. I will mention it to the garage I have heard it that two other cars have the same problem. Keep up the good work. SNOB
  14. My 58 plate Superb 170 elegance, has developed a problem with the heating, I have raised this before but no one had anything to offer so trying again. When you set of it warms up normally if you were to drive on a straight road once warm then fine but the moment you turn a corner the heating goes and a cold draught blows around the lower part of the car. Now this is winter it is becoming a problem. Can any one help as the car is not drivable in this weather, the heat does not return to the heating, but does warm up slightly after going round an opposite way bend. SNOB
  15. New Car hmmmm 170 Elegance Estate

  16. NO one got any more to offer, any other instances WE can't be the only two?
  17. Do you find that the heating does not function properly after the blast of cold air, further more I cannot find out where the cold air comes from very strange. if there is more than us we can probably get Skoda to look into it for an answer. SNOB
  18. I have a problem with my heating, if I drive in a straight line the heating is brilliant but if I go around a round about or brake hard I get a cabin of cold air and the heating does not really carry any punch after, I have heard about some on having this problem on a Octavia so some one else must know whats going on the garage cannot fault it. As a side matter I have just ordered a brand new elegance 170 dsg estate in pearl black with every possible extra added then the really good new is I also get a company car in January which will also be a superb estate how lucky am I. SNOB
  19. I am waiting for our new VW Eos which will have the latest maps on can I update my Skoda Sat Nav from this disk my Superb is just over two years old. SNOB
  20. Here is my findings on tyres, changed from the Conti sports contact to Hankook V12, much much quieter and a nicer ride I had to change this time after 23,000 on the set of tyres to Pirelli PZeros, they are horrendously noisy, and with the Hankkoks I was getting between 550 &600 to a tank of diesel with the pirellis on I am struggling to beat 500 to a tank. I am actually considering changing back to Hankooks in a few months time to save money. SNOB
  21. Just to play devils advocate I drive from Ipswich to London every day and with the temp at -1 i have lost all washer use in about 25 mins and mine are supposedly heated........ SNOB
  22. Just a further post to this I have now realised that when I turn left on such as roundabout or long corner the heat goes of and when I turn Right the same amount it comes back on, it has become apparent now the freezing weather has arrived. Any clues now does not sound like an airlock to me but more like something loose, has anyone had similar?
  23. The air lock theory is my line of thinking but was hoping others might have some input but i must be the only one with this fault. SNOB
  24. Thanks for your reply, as it stands the car will be toasty warm for about 45 mins then the heat disappears and can become quite cool not chilly but cool. SNOB
