Hi all, My car has just started to sound like a train when in first gear, does anyone know what gearbox's will fit (ie golf 150bhp). If i can't get it done quite quick its looking like my car is gonna have to go (which i don't really want to do) Any help would be great Many Thanks

Hi All, I'm looking to get launch control added to my car. My car is mapped with R-Tech atm but they now don't offer this. Not sure if i take it somewhere else if they would be able to add this onto the current map for me. Anyone any idea's Many Thanks

Hi. I have a 200 cell sports cat on my vrs passes the mot but I did find you have to get it really hot first. Take it for a good blast up the road before doing the test and it should pass fine

I have that app and mine shows 22.4psi of boost and mine is on a stage1 map so it doesn't read right,

i cut the center box out and sounds good, just wish it was done the first time round

Hi all, I have a blue flame exhaust on my VRS, after a year I could hear the exhaust blowing, took it to my local powerflow garage which welded it for £10 which I didn't mind. Now it's gone again big time and sounds like a old tractor. They have told me its a resonated exhaust so if i took the middle box out (where its blowing from) its would sound like rubbish, has anyone else had a experience with this? I dont really want to spend out over £500 on a new exhaust Also the breather pipe in the picture is this a main dealer part as i can't seem to find it anywhere? Many Thanks

Very strange fault i have found with my vrs Ifear it se I really give it some in 2nd then go into 3rd gems like I have no power and takes some time to build back up. If driving normally then all is fine only when i'm very near the rev limiter. I have only noticed it in 2nd a couple of times but have a track day coming up soon and would like it sorted, didn't know if anyone else had any similar problems My car is on a stage 1 remap and it holding boost any-other time very very well around 20psi (ish) Not sure if its something in the map and I should try changing gear sooner, think I'm changing around 7000 any help would be good, have only also checked for fault codes with obd Thanks

They plugged it in and it showing front right abs sensor fault. Which would be the side they was working on. Still taking no responsibility for it tho so gonna cost me £50

Only had mine a couple of months, as soon as I drove it i knew it was the car for me just made me smile, only on a stage one remap for now but do have some bigger plans for it. have a couple of little jobs to it on it to like door micro switch and passenger window reg needs changing other than that love it to bits and think the engines are great

Can is booked into them on Friday, said they did nothing to effect it "as I knew they would" but they are doing be a free diagnostics on the abs. At least this will tell me what the fault is an I will fix it myself. He said as above the abs sensor is water proof which I agree it is but if its subject to a lot of water that's a different matter in my eyes

do you know when the water pump was last changed? should be changed every time with the cambelt really, did you give the system a good flush is it was full of rush? if its that bad you might have a blockage somewhere to be fair the water system is quite simple

do you know when the water pump was last changed? had this problem on a old bmw of mine an the water pump was broken, also could be the thermostat is not opening.

Mine started doing the same, just removed the stork and cleaned with switch cleaner been fine ever since

Hi all, Yesterday I got my car back from having a cam belt and water pump have just done 150mile since i got the car back. Went out for a little blast in it today got home all was fine, then had to go pick the kids as soon as i started the car the ABS light & traction control light came on. Now every-time I start it the ABS light is on but traction isn't, if i drive straight away the ABS light will go out and traction control is working then a couple of mile later both lights will come back on again Could the garage of done anything as I have never had this fault before, didn't know if there was any ABS wires or anything need the cam belt covers they could of damaged. I know its a long shot but if not looks like another bill for me Any help would be great Thanks
