Thanks for this, brought my 2018 estate in November that rattle/whine has been ****ing me off since delivery, fwiw to anyone else i wedged a sticky fabic square like in the OP above and inbetween the 2 pipes which solved my issue

My Mrs's 67 plate fabia has both we never paid for also when i got my 2015 octavia new it didnt have it but they released a software update which enabled it. guess it should work might need a software update.

The idea is to do the opposite to what you did. You connect a 4g dongle / your phone to the car then share that data connection via WiFi to other devices in your car e.g some tablets for your passengers / kids in the back so they can watch cat videos.

Having a clear out in my garage got some bits left over from some of my older cars They are all offical skoda gear, the mats from super skoda and the tyre kit is out of the Mrs new fabia. the Boot mat is almost brand new, the tyre kit is brand new the fabia mats are used and you can see some wear on the drivers side but they have plenty of life left in them. I'm thinking £20 for the Octy boot mat £20 for the Fabia mats £20 kit But open to offers. Ideally I would like them all collected due to them being bulky and/or awkward sizes. I've got one on my DSG, I've only set mine on the 1+1 setting so far as i keep forgetting to change it to try something else, the low end "shove" when you put your foot down is noticeable which makes the car a bit more "fun", Overtaking isn't a issue, I flick down a gear (flappy paddles to the rescue as kick down doesn't react quick enough ) and off we go. I've seen a big improvement in longer journeys, 35 mile trip round the m25 to work in the morning has gone from averaging 58-60MPG I saw 70 the other morning, bear in mind im on the motorway at stupid o'clock so i can cruise around 75mph for 90% of the time (f**king m3/m4 junction), I don't expect to see 70 constantly as the kids are back at school so the motorways will be busier. work to back home which is a bit more start/stop and queues i think were high 40's to mid 50's with the box. I've heard a rumour that as the weather gets cooler i should move to the '3' program but ill give them all a go. hopefully my rambling makes sense its a Sunday night
