Ive used aerosol brake cleaner on seats, carpets headlinings and my carpets in the house. Squirt it onto the oil then dab it,( dont rub the headlining), with kitchen roll. Repeat untill its gone. Used it on my mums 3 grand 3 piece suite when i got some oil on it one day and it all came out thank f**k

Ive had them all, 1.3 favvy, 1.6 fun and a 1.9 felly, thraiped the tits off all of them and got about 35 mpg from the lot. The fun was best on a good motorway run getting 45+ at a steady 70ish and the diesel best round town. only the lower tax cost gave the 1.3 points

Mine was the same for a couple of years, then it started to be all the time. Turned out to be the anti roll bar bushes, the sleeve had worn and slid out of the bush I jist gave them a shot of tiger seal in the gaps, and they have been quiet for nearly a year now

Just a quick one. Are the rear shockers on a Fabia estate the same as ones on the hatch? One of mine had lost its oil, money is tight at the moment so the scrappy is the only option, but not many estates in , so will one from a hatch fit steve

Somebody must like them, as they have nicked two full sets of my car in the last 18 months. They have both been tinted sets, so now ive just opted for just having a clear pair on the front, but they dont look as good

Driving home tonight, the glow plug light started flashing for no apparent reason, Stopped engine and restarted, light comes back on after 30 seconds. Anybody any ideas

I would put a genuine thermostat in and also replace the temp sender, Ive had similar problems, and replaced both, being that the coolant was getting drained out Pattern part thermostats are a waste of time, and not much cheaper

If the engine is pinging, or pinking as we call it, i would look at the ignition timing again, also what grade of fuel are you using? as the lower the grade, the lower the power
