  1. From outside those fit perfectly, but the inner ring was a bit too small. So, it was loose. I used tape to make the hole in the wheel a bit smaller. Now it stays there very well.
  2. They are real caps. I think they were these http://www.ebay.de/itm/SKODA-Nabenkappen-Nabendeckel-Radkappen-60mm-Aluminium-Emblem-fur-Felgen-Satz-4-/272119187811 postage 1.99 (not free)
  3. Yes, not so much different. TD has more straight lines in spokes http://www.dezent-wheels.com/products?wheel=dezent-td#?wheel=dezent-td while RE has some curves http://www.dezent-wheels.com/products#?wheel=dezent-re I bought the center caps from www.ebay.de (see skoda nabendeckel). I don't remember which dealer it was, but it was only 9.90 € incl. postage. They came in a small envelope directly to my mailbox. It was a bit hard to measure the correct size and those were just a bit too small. However, with a bit of tape I could get them fit perfectly.
  4. Here is a photo of my Moon white Combi Style with DCC (-10 mm lowered) with another Dezent wheels. Model is TD and specifications are exactly the same as in above (7X17 5/112 ET38) http://aijaa.com/gJcLy0
  5. Thanks Deerjohn! I didn't meant those questions directly to you, but rather for everybody to think about. It is crazy that they keep on selling those cars! I have been told both from my dealer (a service manager there) and Finnish importer that all the cars with DCC have this problem and they know that in the factory and try to find a fix for that. I was not even at my dealer to show the problem - they believed that without even seeing the car. I think that pretty much confirms that all DCC-equipped cars really have the problem. My car is 2.0 TDI 110 kW Style with optional DCC. Having said that, now the weather was a bit warmer yesterday (up to +10 C) here in Finland, it seemed that the noise almost disappeared. So, it may have something to do with temperature. But definitely it has a lot to do with the road conditions and of course roads are also much better than during the wintertime.. In the winter, with icy and bumpy roads, it was terrible. So, if somebody cannot hear that, I recommend to find a bumpy road and drive it through slowly (10-15 mph). At higher speeds, the noise is hidden behind the tyre noise.
  6. So, you refer to 2015 Passat in the link. Two questions: 1. Is the construction really the same in Passat and Superb? If so, why I haven't heard any complaints from Passat drivers with DCC? 2. If the problem is the part you refer to, why it affects only models with DCC? I doubt that the car with normal suspension has any difference in that part. And one extra question. Do they still sell and produce cars with faulty DCC or have they somehow managed to fix it in the production line, but cannot fix the existing cars? I guess it must have something to do with the big costs to repair. There is something really strange in this case...
  7. Here is a couple of photos of my moon white with Helios alloys. Sorry about the bad phone camera quality http://aijaa.com/m6OHFd http://aijaa.com/aLJRn8
  8. 17" seems to be always Conti PremiumContact 5 18" and 19" are Pirelli Cinturato P7
  9. All that I have seen live / internet for Superb III have been 17" Continental PremiumContact 5 18" and 19" Pirelli Cinturado 7 So, not the best choices for noise level...
  10. Interesting indeed. I ordered Combi Style version (In Finland) on 18th of June and never considered ordering the car with the standard Stratos wheels. Instead, I ordered with the Helios which I find much more appealing. After having now seen Stratos wheels in real life I was even more happier that I didn’t took those. For my eyes they look so terrible. Small wheels with many spokes just doesn't fit a car like this, in my opinion. But we all seem to have different tastes
  11. I have confirmed from my local dealer that Centre bore is 57.1 mm, as also in previous model.
  12. This is really great, if true, as I also use cruise control all the time and normal cruise would be better in some circumstances. However, I could not find the option listed in the manuals http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/mini-apps/owners-manuals/superb There seems to be possibility to activate/deactivate Front assist, Lane assist, Driver alert, etc, but not that option for ACC. See page 66 here: http://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Superb_3V/05-2015/Navigation/Amundsen_Bolero/B8_Superb_Amundsen_Bolero_InfotainmentSystem_Navigation.pdf But, if you have seen that working, that's nice!
  13. Based on OZ wheels configurator center bore should still be 57.1 mm http://configurator.ozracing.com/GB/configurator/SKODA/Superb%20Combi/2.0%20TDI/3T/-/-/57094757/ http://configurator.ozracing.com/GB/configurator/SKODA/Superb%20Combi/2.0%20TDI/3T However, I don't know how reliable this information is. At least the ET's and wheel/tyre sizes are correct for the MK III.
