I recently bought an Skoda Superb, 2003. Its got really poor headlights and so i got "new" used ones that look way better. So went today and thought how hard it is, remove 4 bolts and take washer pipe off and remove leads and out it comes but nooo , feels like something holding it underneath or i dont know, wont come out. Moves about 2cm or bit more. Anyone removed them ? Could give few pointers on how to do it? As searched online and youtube but nothing at all. Do i need to remove front bumper? / side wing? Heeeeelppp!

I got similar issue, passenger door does not open always. Also got a wierd thing, i need to be like 2m from car for the remote to work... any ideas what might be causeing that? Edit: Read something about battery might be on way out, as then central locking does not have enough "power" to open all doors??

Thanks , i am just getting new headlights, apparently they come with pulbs. Will see if they work and how they are and go from there. As the ones i got are just plain ugly worn out .

I bought a mk1 superb few days ago and got a question. In boot you have small pockets on both sides and they are very wet. How to fix that?

I bought a 1.9TDi 5 speed manual Skoda Superb Elegance 2003. First noticed when i went on motorway just entered and got to about 50-60mph and turbo stopped working... no warning lights or anything. Turned ignition off and on and turbo came back and worked fine since yesterday went on mway again and same thing happened on slip road, speed about 60mph and turbo went, had to do the off/on again to get back. And then however long i drive on mway its fine. Help?

No factory ones as got me working replaced the fuse. But this thing pictured came with the car...

So I put the fuse in and started working. But as quessed it's faulty two of the sensors are not working only hear two crackling . But why or for what is this thing for I pictured?

What is this for then? As it's what previous owner removed years ago because the sensors were beeping all times? A fuse? It's clicking / when pressed so it's a switch as well?

I bought a Superb MK1 and it's got parking sensors fitted but previous owner removed the switch / thingie and I can't find the slot it's supposed to go into? This is what it looks like: I read that is near gear stick but can't find and if someone knows please post picture. Even went to Halfords but even they didn't know. It's Elegance and has em factory fitted.
