Wow!!! Android into Columbus??? How??

Hi guys. I think about Tomason tn16 for my superb. My solution is: Return the Chinese head unit - Check Bought iPad Air 2 and Brodit center holder - check. I've just need to mount it

Yup. Everything works like a dream out of the box. Except of the upgraded sound system :p check under the driver seat. U can see the amp there. Or u can look at the tweeters on the door. Skoda sound system is the logo

Yep. No solution from them. The amp need canbus signal from the Columbus or bolero. No coding at all

Everything works fine except of the sound system amp not turning on. Hehe. Climate info, parking sensors etc etc. The unit is very quick and smooth I bought a iPad yesterday :p

Status now: This head unit cannot communicate with my skoda sound system amp so I'm gonna send it back to China unless any of u guys want to buy it? :p It looks pretty sexy and will work like a dream in a car without the sound system!!

Thank u sir... Its a canbus box on harness of the player... But it must be a harness that can turn on the sound system via canbus? This is some info about a harness ive found: "The RP4-VW11 interface allows the replacement of a factory radio in select Volkswagen vehicles with LSFT-CAN databus radios. Using this interface will retain factory features such as steering wheel controls (SWC) and the factory Volkswagen amplifier whenever the original radio is removed. Use of this interface also allows you to program two radio functions to each SWC button by using short press long press dual command functionality. The RP4-VW11 also provides data bus driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake."

Hi. I've just installed the 8" android head unit from joying. Everything works fine, except of that I have no sound at all in my sound system. The speakers are completely dead. Is the sound system amp turned on by Canbus? Everything works fine, with climate etc etc. Is there anything I can do to make this work?? Please answer asap. My dashboard is in pieces now :/

Columbus is not very fancy. Thats the main reason. And the screen is kinda small! I have the latest Columbus with LED screen, DAB and SSD drive. But im still not satisfied!

The 8.0" unit is now bought... Together with DAB+ module Cant WAIT to get rid of that ****ty columbus

Yeah. Checked out on YouTube. And it runs silk smooth!! And Google maps, chrome and every other android app is Cool. Plus 10,1 " screen. Its big!! Plus Dab+ etc etc. I think its worth a try if i dont have to cut too many wires. Hehe

U can get it with vag harness. Climate control. Parking sensor etc. I think it looks very cool, and the screen is very nice! But it's kinda Chinese and I'm not really sure about this swap!

Hmmm. Cool. I have a 14 superb Kombi 4x4 170 now. But I also have bad road packet. 20 mm lift. Will these springs get my car even higher? Is this complete new springs?

The eprom can be read and writed with a VCP cable Set it on inactive Eprom is the memory of the ecu I think.

I think the superb 2 fl have another projectors. Better output. Of course not like fxr, but pretty ok. I'm gonna throw in philips d3s x-tremevision bulbs now to see how they perform!

Yes. Inactive will give u more light. If the eprom is 100% and not dimmed.

Swapped mine out with modules from superskoda! But I dont think theese bulbs are monitored by canbus :p

U have to activate with the long coding first! Then u have to adjust it with adaptions. Get urself vcds!
