  1. I know how to turn a car off and on. My problem is that it "only turns on 2/3 of the way" not the whole way. It seems to get badly stuck for some reason
  2. Thanks.. Yeah its turned on/off 50 times a day easily Is it expensive? Not under warranty as used for driving school Edit.. Yes happens on both keys
  3. 2012 citigo, recently I've noticed that if the car stalls (its a driving school car) that the key only turns on 2/3 of the way but not igniting. It happened every 15-20 times but is now so bad that happens 10 times in a row before starts. I've had change battery before and mechanic said it was being drained but that could be me sat in it with radio on etc. It is it likely to be the starter? The key physically won't turn as far round as it should
  4. Look underneath and see if the silver heat reflector running down the middle has came loose anywhere. Happened mine and was easily fixed
  5. Happens with me in reverse. If I go neutral, clutch up then down again it solves it so I guessed the clutch plates hasn't attached/detached properly. Not sure if same for 3rd gear but my guess is a clutch issue. It's an uneducated guess though
  6. I've just bought a new ignition switch so hopefully this works. It stalls 20 times a day and is 3 yrs old so the ignition gets used more than normal
  7. Thanks, what's the PID? Edit.. Just googled it. My model doesn't have this
  8. Thanks, I should have said its not a start/stop It generally only happens after when car stalls
  9. I'm having this increasingly more often. My citigo is a driving school car so takes lots of abuse plus stalls a lot so the keys are often turned off/on in quick succession. Recently after a pupil stalls and they turn off the keys then on again all the dashboard lights come on but can't get engine on. After repeating 2/3 times it eventually "clicks" and goes on. It's not ideal and adds more stress to the pupil in a stressful situation so I'd like to get it fixed. Any ideas what I should do? I like my car to be perfect for pupils so want anything faulty replaced
  10. A great car. A couple of changes I'd suggest would be ability to open passenger window from driver side and warning light to say doors aren't closed. I've neither of these on my 2012 model
  11. My guess is that you aren't giving enough acceleration moving off. Try giving around 1500 revs before releasing clutch and should fix it
  12. Skoda citogo driver, also use it as a driving school car so it gets more abuse than most
